I don't know how often I've been sitting in front of a TV show and thought, "hey, I know that actor, but where do I know them from?" And then I go to look them up, and it turns out I've never seen anything they're in. Weird, right?
Well, recognizable faces aren't always what they seem. And it turns out that famous faces occasionally have doubles. Just check out these faces from Game of Thrones. Some of the resemblances are absolutely uncanny.
The High Sparrow, of course, is played by the singular Jonathan Pryce, a former Bond villain and fixture in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. His resemblance to Pope Francis is downright spooky.
This one is crazy — check out the resemblance between Margaery, played by Natalie Dormer, and young Diana as Emma Peel in The Avengers.
Of course, Diana went on to star as Margaery's grandmother, Olenna Tyrell, the Queen of Thorns. Kudos to that casting director.
