Adele And Drake Are Apparently Best Friends Now And We're Not Worthy

If there are two people in this world that, off the top of my head, I never expected to be friends, it's these two.

They are from different continents, they run in different squads, and they make very different styles of music. It just seems like a weird pairing to me.

But apparently their friends, and now that's my new favorite thing. I don't even know what to do with myself.

First of all, can you imagine the kind of magic that could happen if they decided to collaborate together musically?

My heart can barely handle the emotions their music provokes, separately.

If they made a song together I would be deeply in my feelings, unable to get out of bed for a month.

Basically the only things they have in common are that both of their artist alias' are one name.

And they've both won Grammys before.

So why does this friendship feel so right?

I guess it really isn't all that shocking. Drake is also friends with Millie Bobby Brown, which is an equally confusing friendship.

I guess he just really gets along with English people?

TMZ reported that this past Sunday, Drake and Adele spend the day together.

You're probably wondering what kind of shenanigans they were getting into on a Sunday.

Well let me tell you, it sounds like they had a hoot. A source confirmed that the two “hung out as friends and did a few fun things.”

First they dined at Jerry's Famous Deli in Los Angeles.

It was important that they fuelled up before their next stop on Drake and Adele's Sunday Funday.

Then they went to private party at a bowling alley.

A party at a bowling alley actually sounds fun AF. How do I get on the invite list for next time?

Now I'm kinda curious who beat who at bowling?

Any predictions?

They finished the night off at Chill N Vape Lounge.

I'm sensing this one was more Drake's speed. But who knows, I could be wrong.

I'm having a really hard time picturing Adele vaping.

So, you're probably wondering how these two even met.

Don't worry, I was just getting to that.

The world is a small place, and they both work in the same industry. So running into each in the first place other wasn't difficult.

Adele has expressed in the past that she was a big Rihanna and Drake fan (while their romance was still alive).

During an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Adele said: "I got very excited last night because there was some teasers for Rihanna's new record." adding "I'm the biggest Riri fan. I love her. So I'm very excited for that record."

So, this indicates that she's a fan of music genres outside of her own. Okay.

Then in October 2018, Adele attended one of Drake's concerts.

She later took to Twitter to let the world know she was officially a Drizzy fan.

The following month she told etalk that she was really interested in collaborating with him.

Adele is ready and waiting for her opportunity to remix "Hotline Bling."

“I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much,” she said.

She even said that after a few drinks, Drake's music had her dancing on tables.

“I had a drink like three weeks ago [with] my best friends, in fact it was to celebrate [Hello], and I was off my face because I don’t really drink anymore, and they’ve got video of me dancing to it on a coffee table as well.”

She later bought a Moncler jacket, the same one that Drake wears in the "Hotling Bling" music video.

I love how hard she is fan-girling over Drake. It's so cute.

But the love seems very mutual.

In response to her request for a collab, he told etalk “I’d do anything with Adele," adding "I’d literally go to Adele’s house right now and do laundry for her.”

In a now deleted photo, Drake posted a photo of a cartoon-version of him and Adele.

With the caption: "Me and my main ting just coolin."

I've never loved a friendship harder.
