Courteney Cox Reveals Text To Daughter While She Thought Her Plane Was Crashing

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a really nervous flyer. I have no good reason to be — every flight I've ever taken has been a smooth ride.

Now Courtney Cox, on the other hand, has reason to be a little jittery when boarding a plane.

It feels like just yesterday we were trying to spot Courteney Cox's baby bump on "Friends".

Now, her daughter Coco is 15-years-old, and looking very grown up!

Even after all these years, Courteney and her co-star, Jennifer Aniston, have remained friends.

In fact, Jennifer and Courteney were on board Jen's private plane to Mexico, to celebrate Jennifer's 50th birthday.

Unfortunately, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing.

TMZ reported that the private jet was headed to Cabo San Lucas, but had to land after it had apparently lost a wheel or a tire during takeoff.

It was no doubt a scary moment for everyone on board, and Courteney opened up about what exactly happened.

Speaking to Extra, Courteney explained, "I’m not afraid of flying at all... my dad was a pilot… but I was really scared, because when we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, ‘Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tire.’”

She went on to say that there was no tire at all.

"I have to say, we were in the air for four hours, burning off fuel and just thought of what it is going to be like when we land… it was a really smooth landing."

Even though everything turned out okay, she was worried at the time and decided to text her daughter.

"I sent a little text to Coco, ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say why," she revealed.

She also messaged her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid.

"I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after," she said.

Talk about a scary text to receive!

We're glad everything worked out okay, and the girls eventually made it to Mexico to celebrate. Phew!
