10-Year-Old Shows That Tom Brady Is A Cheater And Wins Science Fair With Findings

We've all encountered that one person in life who's just so darn good at something that you can't help hating them a little for it, right? Like, how can they make it look so easy and so effortless to throw a football/dunk a basketball/hit a home run when my body can't figure out how to sleep without producing a kink in my neck that ruins my week?

And if there's anything more satisfying than finding out that the winner who you've loathed for being too good for years has actually been cheating the whole time, I don't know what is.

Every football fan has an opinion on Tom Brady. You either love him or you hate him. There's no in between.

Unless you're a Patriots fan, chances are your team has gone down in spectacular defeat against the guy. And it only got worse back in 2015, when Brady was accused of cheating in the Deflategate scandal.

The controversy hasn't left everyone's mind yet. For many, it confirmed everything they ever thought about Brady.

It's clear that the man has some major haters, and they come from some people you might not expect.

Well, one young football fan and Brady hater decided to put it all under scientific scrutiny for his science fair project, asking "Is Tom Brady A Cheater?"

Ace Davis, a 10-year-old from Kentucky, plays quarterback himself, and he's on a mission. "I hate Tom Brady, he's been accused of cheating before, I want him to be caught," he told NFL Draft Diamonds when asked why he'd chosen this particular subject.

Could a science fair project determine once and for all whether Brady actually cheated in the past?

Ace's story is going viral and has already been published at a national level. Let's take a look at Ace's method.

So how was he going to prove one way or the other whether Tom Brady was a cheater? With the power of the scientific method.

He made his case clearly, stating first the problem — that "Tom Brady ordered the deliberate deflating of footballs to gain an advantage in the 2015 AFC championship game versus the Indianapolis Colts."

Now, given that he had already stated something of a bias against Tom Brady, he would have to do some pretty solid science to prove his position.

So, Ace enlisted the help of his mom and his sister to perform an experiment. Working under the hypothesis that "we should find that the underinflated footballs provide a competitive advantage," they all threw some footballs inflated to different amounts around the yard and recorded measurements of distance and accuracy.

The results were clear: the least inflated balls average the greatest distance, providing a clear competitive advantage.

Ace had the result he hypothesized and concluded that, yes, Tom Brady was a cheater.

Of course, it's unlikely that Ace's project will be the final answer on cheating allegations against Brady. Ace sure thinks it is, though.

And as he noted on his project, the NFL had penalized Brady over Deflategate, too, fining the Patriots $1,000,000 and two draft picks, and suspended Brady for the first four games of the 2016-17 season.

Judges at the science fair agreed with Ace's work and named him the winner for fourth graders.

So he'll be moving on to the district science fair to show off his work. It's been a success at home as well. "He's not a big fan of school," his dad, Christopher, told CBS. "It was just an attempt to get him interested and excited."

Despite the consequences Brady and the Patriots have already faced for Deflategate, Ace still doesn't think he's suffered enough.

He said that if he ever met Brady, he'd tell the star QB that he "needs to retire," according to CBS. He also said he'd tell Brady "Gimme some of your money, you don't deserve it," according to NFL Draft Diamonds.

The intensity of this kid is hard to match.

He knows exactly what he wants and it doesn't seem like he would ever be convinced otherwise. Ace didn't stop there.

Ace also made some predictions regarding the Patriots' upcoming Super Bowl LIII appearance.

"Julian Edelman pushes everyone around, Gronkowski gets shut down, Gurley runs for 2 touchdowns, Brady plays terrible – three interceptions, Rams win 30-14," he said. Not sure how much science went into that, but it will be fun to see if he's right!

It's hard to tell whether Brady will ever see the science behind Ace's claims.

It's more likely that he be counting his rings. I guess we will have to see if Ace gets a rebuttal from the man himself.
