At just 11 years-old, Angelica Hale became the first contestant to ever get two golden buzzers.

'Fight Song'

On Monday night's episode of "America's Got Talent," 11-year-old Hale came out and sang Rachel Platten's "Fight Song." It went over quite well with the crowd and judges.

Golden Buzzer

So much so that judge Howie Mandel hit the golden buzzer. For those who don't know, each judge gets one golden buzzer per season. When they use it, the contestant automatically advances regardless of how the other judges vote.

This was the second time Hale earned a golden buzzer, which had previously never happened in show history. Her first golden buzzer was for singing Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire" during the 2017 season.

All of this is pretty amazing considering what Hale had to go through to get to this point. At age 4, she had severe bacterial pneumonia that led to septic shock which shut down some of her organs. She spent 12 days on life-support. In 2013, she received a life-saving kidney transplant from her mom.
