23+ Reactions That Perfectly Sum Up Netflix's Hit Stalker Series 'You'

Warning: Spoiler alert!

Netflix has been really killing it lately. Bird Box, Dumplin', Adrift, Tidying Up With Marie Kondo, the list goes on, and they're all amazing.

But one in particular that has been generating a lot of buzz is You. It's creepy, and chilling in all the best ways, left us all completely horrified to ever date again, and best of all, it's given us some great new meme-material.

For a minute, they really had us thinking that "The Captain" was Beck's sugar daddy.

And Joe was about to commit another murder, up until he realized that "The Captain" was actually Beck's real daddy. Awkward.

And then he would've apologized like it was just for her sake..the worst.

In the beginning, I felt bad for Paco. I was really rooting for him.

But then he knowingly left Beck to be murdered in Joe's book dungeon, and it was infuriating.

Basically none of this would have happened if technology wasn't as advanced as it is.

Remember when being a stocker required way more effort than simply looking up a person's name on Google, and finding out everything about them? Good times.

All it took was one small interaction with a customer in a bookstore, and Joe was hooked.

Beck seriously picked the wrong day to buy a new book.

If Paco can ignore the fact that someone is being murdered, then I think I can ignore my past-due bill notices.

Paco has literally mastered the art of ignoring. He ignores his mom and Ron arguing everyday, he ignores Joe's instructions about not going into the basement, and then he ignores Beck begging for her life.

I think Joe made himself pretty clear when he told you not to cheat on him.

If everyone reacted to cheating the same way Joe does, maybe divorce rates would go down.

Or up.

To be fair, he sent her $500 for an outfit, without her even having to ask. That's a sugar-daddy move.

$500 seems like an excessive amount to spend on an outfit that can never really be worn again, she said her dad was dead, and his name was "The Captain" in her phone. Nothing added up.

Waiting to find out if the gunshot killed Joe or Peach, were the longest seconds of my life.

I guess if Peach had killed Joe, there wouldn't be much of a show left. But at least the lesser of two evils would have prevailed.

My face every time Joe contradicted himself.

I get that he was crazy, but how did he not catch on to the fact that everything he said about Peach, directly applied to him as well.

Just think, if Beck had survived, and stayed with Joe, he would have eventually murdered anyone to ever make contact with her.

She's basically the grim reaper. If you cross paths with her, the end is near.

A question we were all thinking for the entire duration of the series.

She was full-on naked, in front of her huge, New York City windows, on display for the entire neighbourhood. All of this may have been prevented if she used that $500 for blinds instead of a dress for the renaissance fair.

It was like she did not even notice her own windows.

Everything she did, she did right in front of the windows, in plain site of probably, hundreds of pedestrians, and Joe.

Our thoughts exactly.

Now Paco is probably going to grow up to become a serial killer, all thanks to Joe. Repeating the cycle.

Joe and Peach were the pot and the kettle.

They were both awful people, but at least Peach wasn't murdering everyone in Beck's life.

When Joe decided to take up jogging so that he could stalk Peach, his reaction was way too relatable.

My kidney hurts after a few minutes of almost any physical activity. Thanks for shedding some light on that issue, Joe.

It's too bad all the murders got pinned on Beck's therapist, because I would have loved to know if he was accepting new patients.

John Stamos always has, and always will be, fine as hell.

I could not handle Joe trying to justify his actions. It was too much.

We know you had your reasons, but being a psycho-stalker-serial-killer is definitely not okay. Sorry, not sorry.

At least we know there's going to be a season two.

The whole time, I thought Candace was dead. Then she showed up, at the very last second, and I was shook.

Somebody better start explaining. I need answers.

I need a season two release date, ASAP.

How did Joe manage to get away with all of this? What happened to the jar of urine left at Peach's? How is Candace alive? What is she doing back? What is their unfinished business?

This show has left me absolutely terrified to post anything, even remotely personal on social media.

You know what, it's probably safer to just deactivate all of my accounts. I don't want to risk it.

Please explain to me how for the first half of the series I was actually pulling for Joe?

I was really rationalizing his actions up until he kidnapped Benji.

This show was really out here bringing out the inner psychopath in all of us.

If the protagonist of a TV show or movie is a crazy murderer, then it's almost impossible not to root for them.

Most of us came to our senses though.

Ethan was the only pure character in the entire show.

Everyone else, even Beck, was shady at times. But Ethan was a breath of fresh air. I hope Joe never kills him.

Beck really does know how to sweet talk her way into her death bed.

Daddy issues are also great for attracting lunatics — a double edged sword, I guess!
