After a revealing Lifetime documentary, Surviving R. Kelly has sparked outrage from fans, concerned about the sexual assault allegations directed towards Kelly.
Fans were also seriously concerned about Lady Gaga's silence on the matter after she collaborated with him back in 2013.
It interviewed several victims who claimed that Kelly had sexually assaulted and harassed them.
As a result of the documentary, Kelly is now potentially facing a criminal investigation.
Notably missing were stars who had worked with Kelly in the past but declined to comment.
People like Lady Gaga and Jay-Z allegedly turned down the offer to speak out.
In 2013, Gaga released "Do What U Want (With My Body)" in collaboration with Kelly.
And others were essentially begging for her to say something against him.
"I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously," she wrote.
She wanted to create something that was "defiant", and wishes now that she could go back and seek therapy instead.
She also explained that the song would soon be taken off streaming services.
Overall, fans are relieved that Gaga finally spoke out against R. Kelly, and are happy to hear that their song will be taken down from streaming services.
