14+ Reasons Why 'The O.C.' Is The Reboot We Need In 2019

Teen dramas in the early 2000's were golden. Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, 90210, Gossip Girl, the list goes on, and if we could get a reboot of every last one of them, that would be a dream come true for a lot of us.

But nothing will ever compare to The O.C, and there are so many reasons why it's the reboot we deserve in 2019.

Here's what everybody's up to these days.

Ben Mckenzie stars in Gotham as police captain, James Gordon. Since The O.C this has been one of his major roles.

Not quite as exciting as Ryan Atwood.

Rachel Bilson has been keeping busy.

Although she's better known for her role in The O.C and Jumper, Rachel has been steadily keeping busy with smaller roles over the years in Nashville, How I Met Your Mother, and Take Two.

Summer Roberts definitely needs to make a comeback.

Autumn Reeser took on a ton of roles after "The O.C".

And I mean, a ton.

She's been in Valentine, Entourage, No Ordinary Family, Hawaii Five-0, Criminal Minds, Salvation, The Arrangement, and more.

I'm not so sure she'd even have time to be in an O.C reboot.

Adam Brody has been keeping low-key.

Since The O.C, Adam married Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, and has made a few acting appearances on New Girl, Scream 4, The Oranges, Jennifer's Body, and most recently, The Cosmopolitans.

Peter Gallagher also made an appearance on "New Girl".

He played the role of Schmidt's dad, proving again, that he is the ultimate dad-actor.

Okay, now let's recap.

In case you don't remember how the finale of The O.C left off, let's get you up to speed.

An earthquake destroyed the Cohen family home, so they all decided to uproot their lives to Berkeley.

The show flashes forward a few years, to Seth and Summer getting hitched.

We kind of all saw this one coming. It was obviously bound to happen. But nonetheless, it was the perfect way to wrap the show up.

Ryan and taylor smile sweetly at each other from across opposite sides of the aisle.

So, are they together or not? Are they just friends? Have they even seen each other since before the flash-forward? This was so unclear. I need answers.

Sandy became a law professor at UC Berkeley, the same college he studied law at.

Looks like things finally came full-circle for Sandy.

Ryan became an architect.

This guy finally got his life together.

In the last scene, as he's leaving the construction site where he works, he sees a teenager down on his luck -- similar to what he used to be when he was kicked out of his house, and offers to help him.

Everybody got the happy ending they deserved.

Well, everyone except for Marissa Cooper, may she rest in peace.

Sorry Mischa, looks like you won't be apart of the reboot.

But we still have questions that need to be answered.

There are so many reasons to make a reboot, so many loose ends that we need tied in order to properly move on.

I need closure!

1. We would get to find out if Ryan and Taylor actually end up together.

The official ending leaves us wondering what's going on between these two. But, if there was a reboot, maybe we could finally get some concrete answers.

2. We would get to meet Seth and Summer's kids.

Assuming they had kids, The O.C reboot could basically be an entire spin-off about their kids.

3. And Sophie Rose.

Sandy and Kirsten had a daughter late in the show. It would be nice to know how her life panned out in the end.

4. We could find out who the father of Theresa's baby is.

We never really did find out who Theresa's baby daddy was. But I have a hunch that it's Ryan.

5. And maybe Theresa's kid could be apart of the reboot as an adult.

I should be put in charge of this hypothetical reboot. It'd be amazing!

6. How amazing would it be if Ryan was in fact, the father of Theresa's baby, and that baby grew up to have a major role in the hypothetical reboot?

Right???

7. We could find out if Seth's comic book career ever took off.

I just need some reassurance that all of Seth's hopes and dreams came true in the end.

8. And hey, if it didn't I just need to know that he's happy.

Is that too much to ask for?

9. Kaitlin Cooper can make a comeback.

Her and Ryan share a half sibling after all. It would be nice for the family to reunite for the reboot.

10. And Anna Stern.

After season three, Anna disappears. But I'd kinda like to know what she's up to these days.

11. We need more fatherly advice from Sandy Cohen.

I wasn't done getting life advice from Sandy. I need at least three more seasons of his guidance.

12. Also wouldn't mind a few more Seth one-liners.

Seth Cohen is reason enough to do a reboot. The guy was hilarious.

13. Did I mention we need more Seth Cohen?

Seriously, please, if a reboot is going to happen, do it simply for this reason.

14. The soundtrack was amazing.

The O.C reboot could take after the original O.C and introduce us to a ton of great indie music.

15. All the spicy, unrealistic drama to distract me from my own problems.

The O.C was a dramatic teenage roller-coaster that always made me forget if my own life was in shambles. I need that back.
