15+ Shows And Movies Leaving Netflix In 2019

It's true what they say, all good things come to an end.

Just when we were getting attached, thinking Netflix was trustworthy, we made ourselves sitting ducks, and they snatched some of our favorite movies and shows from right under our noses. For that, we will never forgive them.

A moment of silence for the shows and movies leaving Netflix as of 2019, please.

They initially tried to take friends off.

But basically, the world said "hell no".

After days of people complaining by the masses, they announced that they're keeping Friends on.

So we can all rest-easy knowing that the greatest sitcom of all time will go untouched.

I don't even know what I would do with my life if Friends wasn't not Netflix anymore. Nor do I remember how I ever survived without it.

1. "Love Actually".

Yes, that's right, they're taking away the best Christmas movie ever. I feel betrayed right now.

The holidays will never be the same.

15. "The Shining".

If you thought you could hunker down on your couch and watch one of the most classic horror films of all time, The Shining, you'd be wrong.

Maybe it's for the best.

2. "Blade" and "Blade II".

Blade and Blade II are also off the menu. So cancel any plans you may have had to watch Wesley Snipes in action.

3. "Friday Night Lights".

This is really not okay.

Netflix, I'm going to have to ask that if you're taking away Friday Night Lights, that you give us One Tree Hill in exchange.

Thanks.

4. "Meet the Fockers".

Wait, you're telling me I don't get to watch Greg Focker and his parents make fools of themselves in front of Greg's new in-laws, for $8 a month anymore? Damn.

5. All of the "Sharknados".

All six of the Sharknado movies will no longer be on Netflix.

I gotta say, I'm not that disappointed. Hopefully, they replace this series with something better.

6. "The Iron Giant".

I never actually got around to watching this one on Netflix, and now I'll never have the chance.

Chances are most of us still have this one on VHS somewhere in the attic though.

7. "The Princess Diaries".

IMDb

Why, Netflix? Why? We give you so much money, and we can't even keep this one crucial film from our childhoods?

I mean, I've never actually watched it on Netflix. But I'd like to still have the option.

8. "Into the Wild".

This just forces us to read the book, which is probably way better than the movie and will ultimately make us happier for longer.

Still kind of upset about this though.

9. "The Green Mile".

Netflix shouldn't be allowed to take down anything with Tom Hanks in it. Can we start a petition for that, or?

10. "Armageddon".

This is one of the most famous movies ever, it has no business not being on Netflix.

11. "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa".

As long as they don't take the original Madagascar down, it's ok. Not happy about this, but it could be worse, I suppose.

12. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring".

This one is just plain frustrating.

They're taking away the first Lord of the Rings movie, but not the other two. How can we expected to skip right into the second and third movie?

13. "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit".

Okay, so not all of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit seasons are going to be taken off. Just the three most recent ones.

14. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story".

The only way Netflix can take this down, and make it up to us, is by replacing it with the four original Star Wars movies.

16. "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days".

Seriously, Netflix? Who's genius idea was it to take this instant classic off? Fire them.

In fact, fire anybody that's opposed to anything with Matthew McConaughey in it.

17. "It Follows".

This horror flick has amazing ratings, and now many of us won't ever get the chance to find out if it lives up to the hype.

18. "Marie Antoinette".

Meh. This one, I could take or leave. Not a huge loss. Besides, it only got 54% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Next!

20. "Kung Fu Panda".

Somebody stop the madness!

There's almost nothing better than Jack Black playing Po, the obese, clumsy, Kung Fu legend panda. How dare they take this from us.

21. "Rent".

Shout out to all the screen musical fans out there who are really taking the hit from this. I feel your pain.

Let's just pray they don't take Hairspray down.

19. "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

Every Josh Hutcherson fan's heart just broke a little bit, and so did mine. I feel attacked right now.

What are we even paying for?

This might one of the worst ways to kick off the new year. But don't worry Netflix, we aren't going anywhere.

We're all a little mad. But let's be real, we still love Netflix, and we're definitely not canceling our subscriptions anytime soon.
