Groom Dumps Bridezilla After Learning How She Reacted To Her Sister's Miscarriage

So much goes into making a wedding the happiest day of a person's life, it's no surprise that some brides take it too far. Of course they want perfection. They're feeling all kinds of pressure and trying to manage a thousand different things trying to make their dreams reality.

But there's a big difference between being in charge of your wedding, and making everybody around you suffer for your wedding. One wedding planner shared a story of a bridezilla she worked for, and wow, this is one for the ages.

The anonymous wedding planner was on board in the early days of the wedding and witnessed some truly shocking behavior.

She shared her tale on Not Always Right, a blog spot where folks who work in retail and customer service can go to tell each other their funniest and most horrifying stories of customer interaction.

Sometimes they get to meet real psychopaths, and this one might just qualify.

From the start, the bridezilla had an issue with her sister, who was both a bridesmaid and pregnant.

The bridezilla was upset that she'd have to have her dress altered to accommodate the pregnancy, and when voices were raised, the planner retreated.

But she overheard a troubling exchange between the two.

"We've been trying for three years," she heard the sister say. "While the wedding may be your day, you knew what I was going through to get the chance to have a baby."

"Well then, I guess you can't be in my wedding, because I don't want to deal with the problems your pregnancy will cause," the bridezilla replied.

The planner then heard a door open and close — the sister had left without another word.

A few months later, during a meeting between the planner, the bridezilla, and her mom, the mom had to take a call.

After a lengthy absence, the mom returned looking like she had been crying.

"Who was that?" the bridezilla asked.

"Your sister," her mom replied. "She's lost the baby."

So the mom had definitely been crying, and the planner was left speechless and heartbroken for this family.

"There is nothing I can say to take the pain away, and there are not enough tissues in the world to mop up my sympathetic tears that are about to come to the surface," she wrote.

But the bridezilla wasn't speechless.

"Oh. Well, I guess she can be in my wedding then, since she's not pregnant anymore."

"I have never seen something snap behind another person's eyes before," the wedding planner wrote. "It's absolutely terrifying! Bridezilla's mom turns to me and speaks in this deadly soft, deadly calm voice:"

"'I'm so sorry to have wasted your time, but it looks as though I won't be financing the wedding anymore. It looks like my daughter will be taking over paying for everything. I hope this doesn't cause your business any trouble.'"

Naturally, the bridezilla heard what her mother said and started to panic, wondering why her mom suddenly wouldn't pay for the wedding.

"I understand, ma'am," the wedding planner told the mom. "I think we can sort out the snags."

Within 24 hours, the wedding was off. The groom had learned about his bride-to-be's heartless reaction to her sister's miscarriage and called it off.

Honestly, it's hard to blame him. It sounds like he didn't dodge the bullet as much as realize that his bride was a fully loaded gun wielded by an honest-to-goodness psychopath.
