Bob Saget Comes To Lori Loughlin's Defense After Her Two Month Prison Sentence

Supporting friends through difficult times in their lives can be tough, especially in the public eye! While you don't want to condone or encourage any wrong-doing, you also want your friends to know that you still love them and want to see them get through it and succeed.

Bob Saget seems to be struggling with this sentiment in a new interview where he's asking about Lori Loughlin's involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Actress Lori Loughlin, best known for her work on *Full House*, has served two months in prison for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Lori pled guilty to her involvement in the scandal, which involved various famous and/or wealthy parents attempting to use their wealth to ensure their children received acceptance to the colleges that they were applying to.

Lori served two months of prison time between October 30th and December 28th, 2020.

Her *Full House* co-star and longtime friend Bob Saget has now spoken out in her defense.

“I love her. I’ve been asked [about] it a lot. I’ve gotten whittled down. I just love her," Bob explained in a new podcast interview. Bob went on to say that he felt like there were other people who should be serving prison time.

"I don’t know, I’d like to see a lot of other people doing time," Bob went on.

While he didn't elaborate on who he was referring to, Bob did add that, "We’re in such a place where no matter what I say I’m screwed, and I just love her. That’s where I am on that.”
