Olivia Newton-John Recalls First Kiss With John Travolta On 'Grease' Set: 'It Was A Beautiful Day'

Grease is my favorite movie of all time. There is nothing I love more than doing the hand-jive while imagining myself being stranded at a drive-in with Danny Zuko.

There's no denying the cultural significance of Grease continues to grow as the cult-classic gains new fans every year.

Now, Olivia Newton-John is remembering the first time she locked lips with Danny Zuko John Travolta.

It's hard to believe it's been over 40 years since *Grease* first premiered!

The loveable musical hit theaters in June 1978 and has been stealing hearts, and vocal cords, ever since!

Now, Olivia Newton-John is answering the most commonly asked fan question.

The 72-year-old sat down with *Us Weekly* and reminisced about her days as Sandra Dee "Sandy" Olsson.

Obviously, it was my favorite interview of the YEAR and we're only in February.

Olivia revealed she and John shared their first kiss during the beach montage at the opening of the film.

"It was a beautiful day," she recalled.

"We were playing around in the water, and I don’t really remember exactly, but it was a very lovely day and an exciting moment because it was the start of the film, although everything was kind of out of order, but we did that. That was the first time we had kissed."

As far as John's kissing skills go, Olivia gave him a 10/10.

"Of course it was a 10. A 10 out of 10, yeah," she laughed alongside her daughter, Chloe Rose Lattanzi, who joined her for the interview.

When asked if she had prepared at all for the kiss, the SEASONED actress replied that no, *of course* she didn't.

"I haven't had terribly many kissing scenes so it's not something that I know how to prepare for – you just do it. And you’re the character. You’re playing a character… But, John is a lovely, sweet man and he made all my acting experiences really easy."

BRB, going to put on my Pink Ladies jacket and cry to "Tears on my Pillow" like I do EVERY NIGHT!
