10+ Times Comedy Actors Couldn't Keep It Together

It's not easy being a comedy actor.

Sure, there is hilarious material to work with, fun co-stars, and getting paid to do what you love.

But there is just one wrinkle here: it's hard not to laugh during hilarious scenes!

Whether it's their line that cracks them up or someone else's, here are 10+ times actors couldn't keep it together.

Lisa Kudrow from *Friends*

When Jennifer Coolidge made a guest appearance on Friends, Lisa Kudrow couldn’t help but break into real laughter.

That's because Jennifer was hilarious as she put on a fake British accent, saying things like, "I feel like a perfect arse."

Steve Carrell from *The Office*

NBC

Want to make Steve laugh? Surprise him.

That's exactly what actor Leslie David Baker (Stanley) did when Michael said, "I have some good news" and Stanley yelled, “We get to go home!"

The only other time we saw Stanley this excited was on Pretzel Day.

Jimmy Fallon from *SNL*

To be fair, we wouldn't be able to keep a straight face while performing in a scene with SNL greats, Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch.

Jimmy breaks character so many times, you just have to watch to see it for yourself.

Jane Curtin from *3rd Rock from the Sun*

Want to make Jane Curtin lose it? Squeeze John Lithgow into a too-tight squeaky pair of leather pants.

The actress had such a hard time getting through this scene, her laughter could be heard over the laughing track.

Rob McElhenney from *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia*

When Charlie was having a tantrum in a local shop, Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac, was trying hard to keep it together.

The more Charlie pushes him, the more we saw Rob bite his lips just to keep it together.

Jason Alexander from *Seinfeld*

There is just something hilarious about Frank Constanza thinking he can start a new computer company.

As Jason Alexander is comprehending the idea in his head, his face puckered with laughter as he sputtered out, “Do you know what it takes to compete with IBM and Microsoft?”

Aziz Ansari and Adam Scott from *Parks and Recreation*

All hell broke loose when Joan stood up while at a restaurant and said she had to take care of something in the restroom.

Both Aziz Ansari and Adam Scott broke into uncontrollable laughter when Adam asks if she is going to “powder her [expletive].”

Jim Parsons from *The Big Bang Theory*

Turns out, Sheldon does have a sense of humor!

When he and Amy go to the hospital with a balloon and teddy bear for Leonard, he is not able to enter and stand still.

This causes Jim Parsons to lose it before he was able to say his line.

Bill Hader from *SNL*

Like Jimmy Fallon, Bill would often struggle to not laugh while playing some of his most famous characters.

The one that always cracked him up was when he played his “weekly updates” character, Stefon.

Rainn Wilson from *The Office*

NBC

When Dwight is interviewing an Amish man, he couldn’t help but go off on a tangent (typical) about a “Latina wedding planner."

Before the sentence is finished, Rainn turns his head away from the camera while laughing!

Rob McElhenney from *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia* again

Here goes Rob again! In one scene, Charlie decides to use “voodoo” chants to take the evil spirits out of the pool.

As a result, Rob couldn't help but smile at the nonsensical blabber coming out of Charlie’s mouth.

Wilmer Valderrama from *That '70s Show*

Oh, silly Fez! When he's taking a shower in the Forman’s restroom, Red walks in and decides to see what's behind the curtain.

Wilmer Valderamma, who plays Fez, snickers and lets out a short giggle while apologizing.

Eugene Levy from *Schitts Creek*

What could be funnier than Levy and Chris Elliot practically spooning as Eugene tries to teach him golf?

The two men couldn't help but fall into a fit of giggles over it, making it difficult to finish the scene.

Pete Davidson from *SNL*

NBC

The comedian found it hard to keep in character when Kenan Thompson yells out, “Man, everybody uses math.”

After a long pause, he breaks into a grin, takes a quick glance at the camera, and then finally gets his line out.

Eric Stonestreet from *Modern Family*

We could always count on his character, Cameron, for a good chuckle!

The actor loves to laugh as well, as he needed to take a deep breath and recollect himself after saying, “What would a reporter say about me? That I’m a high-school football coach?"

Jason Alexander from *Seinfeld* again

As Frank and Elaine are arguing about George being able to hatch up a scheme, Frank says that George isn’t “clever” enough.

When Elaine agrees, Frank then says, “What the hell does that mean?" causing Jason to literally fall over with laughter.

Matt LeBlanc from *Friends*

[NBC}(https://www.joe.ie/movies-tv/video-matt-leblanc-broke-character-in-this-friends-scene-and-we-never-noticed-551539)

In a scheme to get Ross’ late grandmother's ring back, Ross goes into a rage of terror, making odd movements with his hands.

If you look in the background during this, Matt is bent over laughing!

Mindy Kaling from *The Office*

We'd be cracking up if we were in this scene, too!

In it, Kevin crushes Michael's legs while he sits on him and tells Michael Santa what he wants for Christmas. Mindy was cracking up so much, she actually had to leave the shot.

Jennifer Aniston from *Friends*

NBC

We're still laughing over this blooper — and we're sure Jenifer is, too.

When Ross encourages Phoebe to sing along while he attempts to play his bagpipes, Jen couldn't contain her laughter over the ridiculousness of it all.
