TikTok Users Are Divided After Woman Trashes Cheating Ex's Apartment With Glitter

Being cheated on in a relationship absolutely sucks — there's not much more to say about that. Dating someone and giving them your time and affection, only to learn they have been double-timing you, is the worst slap in the face.

Take it from someone who was cheated on after three-and-a-half years, an apartment, and a dog — it's a trash feeling. And, one you always want to try and get some sort of revenge for.

Many women spend weeks trying to come up with some way to "get revenge" on their cheating exes.

While some look opt for blackmail, others opt for embarrassment. Or, they take advice from Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" and go out and totally key a car.

One TikTok user is now changing the game of "revenge" after she shared a now viral video on the platform.

TikTok user @hollynicoleeee_ shared the video where she enters her boyfriend's house while blasting Carrie Underwood's song in the background, and throwing glitter all over his stuff.

If you've ever used glitter, you'd know this is absolutely traumatizing.

Glitter is something that will continue to show up in his stuff for years to come. Getting glitter off of clothing, furniture, or out of the carpet is absolutely impossible.

However, that didn't stop Holly from getting glitter all over his apartment and in his things.

She said that her boyfriend had been sleeping with someone else at the same time, which led her to glitter his entire apartment.

According to another TikTok post from Holly, she and her ex, Alex, had been together for a while when she found out he was cheating.

She confronted him and he admitted it. He promised it would never happen again. Until, a while later, it turned out he continued sleeping with the ex.

Holly wanted to end things and get her stuff back, but according to her, he was ghosting her.

She just wanted to "get her clothes back" but he wouldn't answer. She ended up texting a few of his friends to help and eventually, he said she could get it back while he "wasn't there."

Then, she decided to glitter the entire apartment.

People online were divided about whether or not this "plan" was the best way to deal with her ex.

Some totally loved the petty and savage ways, egging her on to "put glitter in his shampoo and conditioner. Others thought it was so funny.

However, some people on TikTok totally disagreed with Holly's choices.

“Can we please stop normalizing this stuff? Walk away and love yourself. Let’s be good people," one person wrote.

Others found out that Alex's brother also lives in the apartment, and said that Holly shouldn't have messed with his brother's stuff at all.

It seems, however, Alex thinks he "deserved" the glitter, according to TikTok.

Holly later posted the text thread with her ex on TikTok, where Alex admits that he "deserved" the glitter and apologized for the way he treated her.

Dang, this story is MESSY!
