Christopher Walken Says He's Never Owned A Cell Phone Or A Computer

Anyone reading this should be grateful that this isn't recorded in audio format, because you'd be subjected to my horrible impression of Christopher Walken right now as I tell you that the legendary actor has just revealed that he has never in his life owned a cell phone or a computer.

You heard that right. Christopher Walken is basically off the grid.

Christopher Walken is a titan in Hollywood.

You definitely recognize Christopher Walken from his roles in smash hits like Pulp Fiction, The Dead Zone, Catch Me If You Can, True Romance, King Of New York, and tons of others.

He's also famous for his distinctive style of talking and is a popular target for impressionists!

While making an appearance on *The Late Show With Stephen Colbert*, Stephen asked Christopher if he'd had help getting set up for a virtual call.

"Yes, somebody had to come and set this up because I don't have a cellphone or a computer," Christopher revealed.

Wow! I'm a little bit jealous — life must be a lot simpler!

Christopher made it clear he wasn't "morally, philosophically, emotionally opposed" to technology.

Christopher said he "just got to it too late."

"I think I'm right at a certain age where it just passed me by," Christopher joked.

"I never got involved in it because it would be strange to have any 10-year-old be much better at it than I am," he added.

"Sometimes on a movie they'll give me a cell phone, but it's more so that they can find me," Chris explained, "like a tracking collar."

I don't know about you, but it kind of sounds like a dream set up! That's pretty much what my parents got my first cell phone for too.
