Blake Shelton Reveals That Gwen Stefani's Kids Were There When He Proposed

Modern day love stories are hard to find, but we definitely have one in Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, the couple nobody saw coming when they first became judges on The Voice together.

Blake and Gwen recently became engaged, and Blake just shared some sweet details about the proposal involving Gwen's three children.

We've loved Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani as a couple since they started dating back in 2015.

We got to watch their love story unfold as they both competed as judges on The Voice, and on top of that we got some excellent music out of it too! That's what I call a win-win when it comes to celebrity relationships.

Blake and Gwen announced that they had gotten engaged in October.

In a new interview, Blake revealed that it was important to him that Gwen's three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, be there for the big moment.

That's what I call romance!

Blake discussed the moment and said her kids being there was pretty much the only thing he knew for sure he wanted.

"The only thing I had planned was that I knew I wanted to do it in Oklahoma while all her kids were there," Blake said. “I wanted everybody to be there in the moment."

“I didn’t want to take her away or do something private away from the kids,” Blake said.

“I felt like it was important for the kids to be a part of that moment, so that’s what I did.”

We love that, and we're sure it was a powerful and touching moment for Gwen and her sons!
