Candace Cameron Bure Believes Sex Should Be 'Celebrated As A Christian' After Facing Backlash

Look, say what you want about Fuller House, but Candace Cameron Bure is a saint.

She gave us the Lord's work on Full House for eight seasons and proved that aging is a myth.

I mean seriously, why does Candace still look like the D.J. Tanner we all knew and loved in the '90s?!

Now, our Hallmark Christmas movie queen is back, defending her and her husband's relationship after receiving backlash a few months back.

Candace Cameron Bure is truly one of the most recognizable faces on TV.

The 44-year-old actress has been a household name on our screens since the '80s and has been filling our lives with Fuller House and Hallmark Christmas movie joy ever since!

As Candace fans will know, the blonde bombshell has been living her own, real-life Hallmark movie while being happily married to hubby Valeri Bure since 1996.

She and the former NHL star have three children together: 22-year-old-daughter Natasha, 20-year-old son Lev, and 18-year-old son Maksim.

As Candace fans may *also* remember, the 44-year-old was called out for posting this "inappropriate" picture of herself and her hubby a few months back:

Imagine being angry at a husband and wife for being sweet and spicy with each other?

After being forced to delete the original pic due to negativity, Candace reposted the pic of her husband cupping her breast on her Instagram stories accompanied by a series of videos explaining why she laughed off the hate.

"For all of the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband’s hand on my boob — my husband of 24 years — thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it’s my husband," Candace said, according to Us Weekly..

"We have so much fun together. He can touch me anytime he wants, and I hope he does. That is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about."

She continued: "I’m sorry if it offended you. I’m actually not sorry."

"I’m glad we have fun together after so many years. He can touch me all day long."

YAS CANDACE!

If your husband can't cup your breast, who can?!

However, it seems the initial clapback didn't stop the trolls from leaving mean messages on the actress' page!

Now, Candace is speaking out about the controversy again on the "Confessions of a Crappy Christian" podcast.

"This is something to be celebrated as a Christian," Candace explained, according to *Yahoo!*

"Sex doesn’t stop once you get married," she continued.

"Sex is the blessing of marriage and I hate when Christians are like, ‘No! You have to pretend like you’ve never had sex’ and ‘We only know that you’ve had sex three times because you’ve had three children.’"

"So sometimes there’s a skew about sex that — within the Christian community — that I get really sad about."

"Because if we are to promise ourselves for one another and preach saving yourself for marriage, then sex needs to be celebrated within marriage and it’s not to be shameful."

She revealed she struggled a lot when she first got married.

"I lived in such a fear of like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m not supposed to be a sexual person because I have to save myself, God is going to think negatively of me if I’m having sex…’ It’s very difficult to flip that switch."

"I probably annoy my kids, again because I have talked about sex with them their whole lives. I just make it a part of everyday conversation," she concluded.

As if we couldn't love Candace anymore than we already did!
