Kate Hudson is at the top of her game.

She's well on her way to building a wellness empire with her own athleisure line. She's 41, but you could argue that she's still in her early 30s.

1. She eats a healthy breakfast every morning.

The star understands that breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Her favs? She told Women's Health that she starts every morning with celery juice and then has a protein shake, oatmeal, an acai bowl, or eggs.

2. She's a WW ambassador.

The actress used the program, formerly known as Weight Watchers, to help her shed the baby weight from her third child in 2019.

“It was a smarter way to take weight off, because it stays off," she told WW about her 25-pound loss.

3. She has her own athleisure clothing line.

I don't know about you, but I'm more inspired to work out when I have cute workout clothes!

This was the idea behind Fabletics, the athleisure line that the actress formed in 2013. Since then, it's grown immensely.

Since community is so important to her, she wanted to create clothing that would appeal to all women.

"I kind of wanted to create something that was more about a lifestyle than an actual fitness brand," she told CNBC Conversation.

4. She works out three to four times per week.

This includes hot yoga, workouts at Body by Simone, Beachbody's Brazil Butt Lift, and using her Pelaton.

In order to get results and never get bored, she switches between several different workouts per week.

"I like doing that," she told *Cosmopolitan* in 2018.

"The professionals say it is good to move things around. I’m not a professional, I am in no position to tell people what’s best for them, but you know I love switching things up," Kate revealed.

5. But her go-to exercise is Pilates.

She can thank the exercise for her lean, sleek muscles.

"I love how flexible I get and what it does to the shape of my body,” she told Women's Health. She also loves pole dancing, as she has a pole at home.

6. She always makes time for workouts.

As an actress, mother, and the founder of her own athleisure line, she is insanely busy. But the star's biggest superpower is that she always makes time for wellness.

For her, this means working out in the mornings after the kids are dropped off at school.

She'll even make time when she is busy filming or living in a hotel.

"I'm one of those people who, it'll be early in the morning and I'll be in a robe getting my hair done, and I'll use my Hot5 app—and do push-ups for five minutes!" she told Shape.

7. She doesn't eat a lot of meat.

The thought of steak might make some people salivate, but for Kate, she can't remember the last time she had one.

Instead, she aims to eat five small meals a day that are mainly unprocessed and plant-based.

8. She practices intermittent fasting.

In case you didn't know, this is a pattern of eating that cycles between feasting (eating) and fasting (not eating).

Kate typically goes about 14-16 hours between meals after stopping eating past seven p.m.

9. She loves to dance.

In addition to all her other exercises, she uses dance to get fit and shake off the stress.

Whenever she's not filming, she hits up her favorite dance studio for jazz classes. "Dancing is the thing for me," she told Shape.

10. She doesn't beat herself up.

The star is all about grace, whether she missed a workout or indulged too much.

"There’s a way to live a healthy life that is involved in this world of wellness without [taking] a very strict over the top approach," she told Cosmopolitan.

11. She finds healthier alternatives for her favorite foods.

Instead of loading herself up on carbs, she told Cosmopolitan UK that she makes something called Manna bread.

"It’s a very healthy but yummy bread - with a little bit of butter."

12. She's not afraid to indulge.

That star knows that life is all about balance!

"If I want to go out and eat at a restaurant with amazing food, I'll do that, like, once a week where I'm not thinking about it," she told Shape.

Her favs include pizza and cocktails, especially a martini.

"Like Hawaiian pizza. I'm always the person that orders the pizza that everybody goes, 'Why did you order that?'"

But she doesn't let this stop her, as "guilt" isn't a part of her vocabulary

13. She stays mentally fit.

This keeps her in shape in other areas, including fitness.

She likes to practice transcendental meditation and Kundalini, which is a form of brain-focusing yoga. "Anything you do helps," she told Shape, adding that mental health is key to physical health.

14. She snacks smart.

Since she has five small meals per day, snacks are always on the agenda.

But when she does, she tries to stay away from high carb fruits. Instead, she likes low-carb fruits and nuts.

15. She drinks a lot of water.

Like Jennifer Aniston, Kate understands the benefits that come with staying hydrated.

"When I'm drinking good water, my skin looks the best. If I had to conjure something up, it would be water," she told WH.
