Arnold Schwarzenegger Makes Emotional Plea For People To Visit Veterans' Graves

Actor, action hero, and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger has never been one to remain silent in the face of issues that he cares about, and honoring the legacy of all the brave veterans who gave their lives for America's freedoms is definitely one of those issues based on a series of videos that Arnold shared on Veterans Day this year.

On November 11th, Arnold shared a video where he paid tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for their country.

"They are the true action heroes, and I say thank you to them," Arnold said in the video, filmed at the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

However, something he noticed at the cemetery clearly bothered him, because he released a second video upon his return.

"I just came back from the Los Angeles National Cemetery, where I did the first message," Arnold began in the video.

"Then when I came home, I said to myself, 'it doesn't make any sense.' I was kind of upset, you have to understand, it doesn't make any sense that in this cemetery where a hundred thousand people were buried, veterans, there were only like twenty people walking around," Arnold explained.

"Think about that," he continued.

"People go, twenty thousand or so, go to a political rally where someone promises them to make America great. But the fact of the matter is those veterans are the ones that made America great. No one else," Arnold continued.

"So I hope that next year, when I go back to the cemetery, that I will see those twenty thousand that are so patriotic."

"I hope I see you there. I think it's a discussion that we should have, the definition of patriotism. Let's talk about it," Arnold finished his video, which you can watch above.
