Megan Fox Slams Ex Brian Austin Green For Portraying Her As 'An Absent Mother'

Despite how hard parents try, divorces can often be very messy when there are children involved. That's no different for celebrities, especially when the former couple might have different ideas of how to use their social media when it comes to their children. Megan Fox recently called out ex Brian Austin Green for his behavior on social media.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were married for 10 years until 2019.

The couple share three children together, sons Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. Brian is no stranger to posting his children on social media, even as a clear response to his ex-wife's new relationship, but his latest post seems to have struck a nerve with Megan.

It won't be the first time that Brian's social media posts have caused a stir.

Brian posted a response to this picture that Megan shared of herself with her new boyfriend, rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Megan's picture included the caption, "Achingly Beautiful Boy... my heart is yours," with two knife emojis and a black heart.

Brian's response was pretty direct.

Brian shared a collage of his children, which would be fine on its own, but the caption was strikingly familiar. "Achingly beautiful boys... my heart is yours," he wrote, almost word for word what Megan had captioned her shot.

While Megan didn't respond to this at the time, fans certainly did.

"Bit unnecessary and super petty bro," one comment read. "You're such a drama queen. Megan hasn't done anything wrong, she's allowed to date other people," another fan wrote.

Megan herself has now spoken out after an Instagram post Brian made over Halloween weekend.

Brian shared a photograph of himself and their son, Journey, in costumes, writing, "Hope you all had a good Halloween!"

Megan immediately responded.

"Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in," Megan wrote in a comment on the now-deleted post. "I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media."

"I know you love your kids," she continued, "but I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via Instagram."

"You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time," Megan continued in her scathing comment.

"Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human!"

"Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?" Megan's comment finished.

Brian did not respond to her comment, but did delete the picture and re-upload a version with Journey cropped out.

Fans had a lot to say in the comments of the new picture.

"Not you playing victim and acting like everyone else is the bad guy," one fan wrote. Others, however, were on Brian's side, claiming he had "every right" to post pictures of his kids on Instagram.

"They are YOUR kids too! You can post whatever you want on your IG," one fan wrote.

However, some fans defended Megan.

"You guys didn't listen to what Megan said at all. She's not mad that Journey was in the picture. She's mad because you guys see Brian post the kids and she doesn't so you guys think she's an absent mother when she's not," one fan wrote.
