Adele is back, baby! Well, she's back on Saturday Night Live... as a HOST! And while she wasn't the official musical guest, it's Adele, so naturally, the SNL writers gave her a chance to sing!
As all Saturday Night Live fans know, a host's opening monologue can either make or break an episode. Luckily for Ms. Adele, her opening was an absolute SMASH!
She then appeared on the iconic show again in 2015 during her "Hello" era that, understandably, sent the world spiraling into an Adele frenzy!
Adele began her opening monologue with a joke about her transformation, "I know I look really, really different since you last saw me," she began, according to Access Online.
She continued: "I'm here because I've had a lot of heartbreak in my life - first at 19 and then, sort of famously, at 21 and then, even more famously, at 25," she said, in reference to the titles of her first three albums.
Twitter was filled with supportive comments for the songstress, praising her comedy skills and her GORGEOUS looks!
She looked incredible, she sounded incredible — 2020 looks amazing on you, Adele!
