Sam Elliott Narrates Ad For Joe Biden: 'Choose A President Who Brings Out Our Best'

As we get closer and closer to election day, we can expect more and more celebrities to start sharing their political opinions, whether it's Kirstie Alley, Jon Voight, or even The Rock.

The latest celebrity to lend their voice to a political candidate is one with a pretty iconic voice — actor Sam Elliott.

Political advertisements are nothing new, but it's fairly rare that one generates a ton of conversation.

The internet has erupted over the latest ad from the Biden campaign, largely due to the fact that it is voiced by the legendary Sam Elliott.

"There is only one America. No Democratic rivers. No Republican mountains. Just this great land, and all that's possible on it with a fresh start," Elliott's narration begins.

"Cures we could find. Futures we can shape. Work to reward. Dignity to protect."

"There is so much we can do, if we choose to take on problems, and not each other. And choose a president who brings out our best. "

"Joe Biden doesn't need everyone in this country to always agree."

"Just to agree we all love this country, and go from there," Elliott narrated over footage of Joe Biden on the campaign trail.

Reactions to the ad have been predictably mixed.

Some, including Jon Cooper, believing that this is Biden's best ad so far.

"Sam Elliott is good for the soul," Juliette Kayyem tweeted.

Billy Baldwin took to Twitter to share his own thoughts on the ad.

He sang Elliott's praises, saying that he makes the world a better place.

One person pointed out that there was a time when he was adored by all of America — regardless of their political affiliation.

Until he revealed his political party, that is.

Others were pretty surprised that Elliott would voice an ad for the Democratic party.

Many who admired Elliott while growing up appeared pretty disappointed by his Biden endorsement.

"If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now. Sam Elliott!" another person tweeted.

Will there be another bombshell president endorsement before the November 3 election? Time will tell!
