Jill Duggar Reveals She's 'Not On The Best Terms' With Her Family: 'There's Been Some Distancing'

The Duggars, a family made famous from their reality shows like Counting On, are a family that have a lot of rules for their family members. Like all children who break away from what their family wants from them, Jill Duggar has shown that sometimes doing what's right for yourself can mean having to distance yourself from your family for a little while.

Jill Duggar has been a bit of a family rulebreaker lately.

The Duggars are notoriously strict when it comes to their children's lives, but since leaving the show, Jill and her husband, Derick, seem to be enjoying their freedom, whether it's by wearing pants or drinking alcohol.

That doesn't mean their family is perfectly accepting, as the couple has revealed in a new YouTube video.

"Yes, there's been some distancing there," Jill said when asked about her family.

"We're not on the best terms with some of my family. We've had some disagreements and stuff, but we're working toward healing, definitely, and restoration. We're having to kind of just take some time and heal and just doing what's best for our family right now and just working through it, I guess," she said.

"So it's difficult," she went on.

"But like we're praying and trusting God that the timeline is his and what that looks like and everything," Jill explained, adding that the couple "definitely appreciate your prayers, but, we don't want to go into detail too much."

"We don't regret leaving the show. We feel like it was the best thing for our family, especially at that time," they said.
