Jane Fonda Brings Back The Leotard In A Totally '80s Workout Video To Encourage People To Vote

Whenever it's election time, it's always so important to make sure that as many people as possible get to cast their vote and have their voices heard. This upcoming presidential election will definitely be a big one, and Jane Fonda is here to make sure that people remember to register to vote before it's too late in a very fun way!

Jane Fonda is known for many things.

The actress and activist's credits to fame go on (most recently she's starred in Grace & Frankie and has been a vocal activist against climate change), but her workout videos in the 1980s are definitely up there in terms of her cultural impact.

Jane has decided to bring back the spirit of these videos by releasing a new one.

This time, however, her focus is a little different. "Let’s Get Registered!" She wrote on Instagram. "We’re getting in shape for the race of our lives this November and it has never been more important to exercise your right to vote."

The video shows celebrities like Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Amy Schumer, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kerry Washington joining Jane for a virtual workout class in full '80s gear.

“Hello, class, we’re bringing back the movement,” Jane begins in the video, as different shots of herself and other celebrities working out. “We need you to be in shape in the upcoming race. I need you to be strong, I need you to be laser focused!"

"I need you to be fully committed to the task at hand, so let’s get ready to exercise our right to vote.”

“Exercise your glutes, exercise your quads and most of all, exercise your right to vote,” Jane finishes the video, which you can watch for yourself right here!

What a fun way to get out such an important message!
