Eva Mendes Had To Shut Down Another Rude Comment About Her And Ryan Gosling On Instagram

Eva Mendes has had enough.

She may keep things notoriously private about her relationship with Ryan Gosling, but that doesn't stop the haters from issuing out shade.

But if you think the actress is going to lie down and take it, think again. She proved just the opposite this past weekend when she shut down a rude comment involving her and Ryan.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been going strong since 2011.

While they knew each other for a while before this, they didn't connect romantically until they worked together on the 2011 set of The Place Beyond the Pines.

"There's such special work in *The Place Beyond the Pines*," Eva told *Oprah Magazine*.

"We had known each other for a while already, so to work together was really exciting," she continued.

So adorable!

While many assume that they're married, there has been no confirmation of this.

They do, however, have two daughters together: Esmeralda and Amada.

Esmeralda was born in September 2014, followed by Amada two years later in 2016.

Another thing fans know about this notoriously private couple is that Eva isn't afraid to clap back at those who criticize their relationship.

This was made more than evident back in May when a fan dared to say that Ryan doesn't help raise their children.

This all started after Eva uploaded this picture on Instagram:

"Tired Mama. Stayed up laaate trying to make my baby’s 4th birthday extra special since she won’t see the family," she captioned the photo.

This prompted one fan to call her a single mother:

"Thanks for your honest comment," Eva replied, "So here’s my very honest answer."

She went on to explain how she wasn't trying to exclude Ryan from her post.

"So when I say I’m a 'tired mama' and want to connect to other 'tired mamas,' it’s not about excluding the fathers or other caregivers that do so much."

"It’s just me connecting to other women but in no way does it de-value what papas do."

She also explained that she values Ryan's privacy.

Naturally, her explanation was perfect.

"And why I don’t talk about Ryan and all the wonderful things he does as a father, is because I keep that part private," she added.

"I don’t want to involve him or how he parents because I don’t feel comfortable crossing that boundary that I have set for myself."

Which, if you ask me, is the perfect way to keep their celebrity relationship life going strong.

It's also fair to point out that Ryan is the reason Eva had kids in the first place.

"It was the furthest thing from my mind," the Hitch actress told Women's Health.

Then, “Ryan Gosling happened." Aww.

"I mean, falling in love with him. Then it made sense for me to have…not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him."

Based on this, we can totally see him being a hands-on dad.

They seem like the perfect couple.

Eva's response, which was well-received by fans, was totally fair.

But, alas, that hasn't stopped more rude comments from hitting the actress's page.

Just this past weekend, she caught flack for sharing an old photo of herself running on a beach.

"Went for a run on the beach this morning," she began her caption. "No I didn’t. This picture was taken at least 15 years ago. Haven’t seen a beach this year. Haven’t been on a run this year."

Instead of being supportive that the star is just doing her part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, one person dared to leave some unsolicited advice.

"You need to tell Ryan [Gosling] to get you out more," they wrote.

Rude!

Eva had a classy, yet epic, comeback to this: "No thank you, I’m good," she replied. "Rather be home with my man than anywhere else in the world."

This is straight-up #FACTS, as this other fan soon pointed out:

If staying inside and cuddling Ryan Gosling is wrong, then we don't want to be right.

Celeb pal, Mario Lopez, was also on board with the star taking the pandemic seriously. "Hahaha respect!" he commented.

Unfortunately, there were still some who criticized the star for avoiding beaches during this time:

Eva never responded to this, likely because she is too busy snuggling Ryan inside their home right now.

Ugh, can we have her life??

But honestly, for the most part, fans were super supportive of her. The number of fans who had her back greatly outweighed those who did not.

Because that is what REAL fans do, after all!

What do you think about Eva Mendes' classy response to the comment on her photo?

Do you think she should have ignored it, or do you love a good clapback?
