Taco Bell Canada Is Releasing Its First Custom Wine To Pair With The Toasted Cheesy Chalupa

We have no idea whose fantastical brain this idea came out of, but we're certainly interested in learning more about the first custom wine to pair with Taco Bell's Toasted Cheesy Chalupa.

No, this isn't something we thought we would even want, but suddenly, we're dying to try it. Don't judge!

Would you like some wine with your taco, ma'am?

Taco Bell recently announced that it's releasing its first official wine, aptly named Jalapeño Noir.

The wine, which is made from a Pinot Noir grape varietal, is being released in Canada to help promote the fast food chain's new Toasted Cheesy Chalupa.

Happy hour just got a lot cheesier.

The chalupa is made using six-month aged cheddar cheese toasted right onto the chalupa shell, and is filled with seasoned beef and Taco Bell's usual toppings.

Jalapeño Noir is produced by Queenston Mile Vineyard in Ontario's Niagara Peninsula region, and the bottles will come with three different labels to encourage collecting.

Don't wine about how fancy Taco Bell is getting. Get hyped.

In case you were wondering — and we know you were — the wine features notes of "wild strawberry, cherry and beetroot" and is described as "silky" by a spokesperson for Taco Bell.

Let's toast to our Chalupas — even if the wine is only available in Canada.

Unfortunately, this wine-and-chalupa combo is only available in Canada. Never before have we been so keen to make a run for the border.
