10+ Celebrities Are Able To Stay Humble Despite Their Millions

Give someone a million bucks and chances are, they will change quite a bit.

Add in fame, adoring fans, and privilege, and get ready for the 360 transformation to begin. While this happens quite often in Hollywood, there are a select few who resist.

These are the rare gems who choose to stay humble despite what is in their bank account.

1. Keanu Reeves

He's considered one of the nicest guys in Hollywood and one of the most humble.

The actor rides the subway and helps his fans out whenever he can, like the time he helped a fan who was stranded.

He even gave away most of his earnings from *The Matrix* sequels to the costume and special effects team.

"Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries," he told Hello!.

2. Chance the Rapper

This has made him one of the biggest role models in Chicago — and the world.

3. Jennifer Lawrence

She's been one of the biggest actresses for years, but you wouldn't know it based on her personality.

She's as humble as they come, especially at award shows. She fangirls over meeting other celebs, cracks jokes about herself, and speaks her mind.

4. Jennifer Lopez

Despite her massive $34 billion fortune, she's still Jenny from the Block.

She owns the Lopez Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization with her sister, Lynda Lopez. They created it to help women and children. She loves helping others.

5. Adam Sandler

Regardless of how you feel about his films, he is actually one of the biggest actors out there.

But he definitely does not let this get to his head and make him too superior to interact with fans.

When he was in Toronto in 2019 for the Toronto International Film Festival, he took the time to interact with fans.

Despite being uber-rich and uber-famous, he's still that same kinda awkward, humble, funny guy that he's always been — and we love him for never changing.

Unlike her Sex and the City character, Sarah doesn't spend all her money on expensive shoes.

She even makes her kids live modestly. "He only wears hand-me-downs because I’ve got all these older nephews," she told Parade about her son's clothes.

"Plus, my mother saved all my brothers’ clothes. I don’t think I’ve ever bought him any clothes," she continued.

"Maybe a new winter coat. I do buy him shoes because everybody’s feet are different."

She sounds like a great woman!

7. Halle Berry

She may be super well-off, but the actress never lets herself get too comfortable.

"I am very thankful for my good fortune, but one of my biggest fears is that I could lose it all," she told Daily Record.

8. Eva Longoria

It took a second, but once she was a well-established actress, she gave back to the people who deserved it most: her parents.

They had often gone without AC and heat in order to afford Eva's music and cheerleading lessons.

She gave back to her parents by buying them a new home and enlisting the help of decorator Nate Berkus.

She and her ex, Tony Parker, also presented Oprah's Angel Network with a $50,000 donation.

9. Ed Sheeran

You will not find this singer wearing extravagant designer labels anytime soon. For his comfortable style, it is plaid and no-fuss outfits all of the way.

His leisure time is just as down-to-earth. He once bought 200 films from Amazon!

10. Shailene Woodley

The actress started working as a babysitter at the age of 10.

This helped her learn the value of money at a young age — something that helped her not take things for granted once she brought in millions.

“It wasn’t that I ever felt like I needed a lot of money,” she told *InStyle*.

“It was this idea of the payoff and reward system: I’m going to work really hard, put my nose to the ground, and dig into some effort for a few hours a week in order to get something else that I want," she said.

11. Mark Ruffalo

While a lot of celebrities choose to live in mansions in Hollywood, the Marvel actor took a different path for his at-home life.

He currently resides in a small city called Callicoon with his wife, Sunrise Coigney, and their three kids.

“It’s pretty much a blue-collar community, a farming community," he told *OK Magazine*.

"I wanted my children to have that experience.”

He also likes the fact that he’s treated like everyone else in Callicoon — "no favoritism or anything like that," he said.

12. Kate Middleton

He may be "The Rock," but he is a total softie inside.

To this day, he still gives back to his fans, like when he gave this retiring teacher this adorable surprise or when he advocated for Black Lives Matter.
