When you think of a raccoon, I'm sure the first words that come to mind are "trash panda", "nuisance", and maybe even "rodent", if you've had a particularly negative experience with one.
But I promise those will be the farthest words from your mind when you see this adorable rescue raccoon and feast your eyes on her fabulous finger paintings.
Piper recently went viral on Instagram after her owners shared a series of photos depicting the critter proudly showing off her latest and greatest works of art.
Piper is actually the newest member of the rescue raccoon family, also consisting of her adopted brother Cheeto.
The sweet duo's human mamma, Sarah, documents their adventures on their very own Instagram account @titotheraccon. Tito was the name of the family's original raccoon who unfortunately passed away in January.
The people who found the poor creatures placed them back in their tree, but another storm blew them out again, and this time only one of the babies survived. However, her mother never returned to get her.
Those people reached out to Sarah and her husband to see if they would take her in, and after the tragic loss of Tito this year, they knew Cheeto was in need of another pal. So naturally, they accepted, and Piper was brought into the family.
Both her brother Cheeto and her late brother Tito also happen to be accomplished finger painters themselves, and their artwork is featured all over on their Instagram page.
So it's safe to say creativity runs in this family!
Their colorful, abstract "pawtraits" can actually be found for sale on their website, ranging from an $85 "Mystery Piper Painting" to a $150 "Cheeto Masterpiece!"
You can even order custom pieces from either artist for $150! And judging from the amount of "sold out" artwork, these canvases are in pretty high demand!
