Jason Momoa Gives His Wife Lisa Bonet Her 'First Love' By Restoring Her First Car

Jason Momoa sometimes seems like he's just too good to be true. It's like a bunch of women got together and created the perfect man in a lab somewhere and released him to the world to get hosed down and post thirst traps to his heart's content.

That makes his wife, Lisa Bonet, a very lucky woman, and we're sure that she knows that.

Any woman would probably consider herself lucky to be married to Jason Momoa.

Not only is he certifiably a grade-A hunk, he also seems like such a genuinely sweet and funny guy!

Obviously, the fact that he is a certifiable grade-A hunk certainly doesn't hurt his odds in any way.

Some of us would consider ourselves lucky to have a position even less important than his partner.

Just ask the tons of fans who asked about the qualifications and application process to acquire the job of "hosing Jason Momoa down after a dune buggy ride" when he shared this adorable shot to his Instagram.

Of course, Jason is pretty lucky himself.

Jason's married to actress Lisa Bonet, who we all grew up admiring on The Cosby Show, including Jason himself. Jason once revealed that she was his childhood crush, saying, “Ever since I was like, 8 years old and I saw [Lisa] on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one.'"

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have been together since 2005.

They got married in a secret ceremony in 2017 and have two children together, although Jason is also a father figure to Lisa's daughter, Zoe Kravitz.

Jason recently proved that he was kind of the best husband ever in a new Instagram post.

"Aloha everyone, this is 14 years in the making," Jason captioned the video on his page.

The video involved Jason restoring his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang. "This is a big dream come true because this was my wife's first car," he said, also referring to it as her "first love."

Jason explained that this was going to be a difficult job.

"I know we can’t relive a memory, but maybe we can rebuild one," Jason said, adding, "The story is this is the first car she ever bought. It’s one of three ever made and it has a lot of custom parts to it."

Jason commented on how significant it was for him to be doing this.

"To be in this passenger seat, with my wife here and surprise her and our babies in the back… Riding in her first car when she was 17… I’m excited to see her face," Jason explained, adding, "It's come a long way."

"It’s come a long way."

The move paid off, with Lisa being incredibly surprised and delighted with her present. "That is gorgeous. Oh my gosh... not too flashy but just enough, it is so beautiful," she enthused.

The company that helped with the restorations shared some impressive before-and-after shots.

"We don’t often share intimate details of our work or clients. Or the motivation behind the two. Much love to Big Uncle J @prideofgypsies for allowing us this wonderful opportunity to show you what we are all about," wrote Divine 1 Customs on Instagram.

The after picture looks amazing.

"This is a great story. 1965 Mustang. Check out the link in the bio. Big thanks to all the expert craftsman and sponsors who helped out on this build," the company finished their post.

They did an amazing job!

What an amazing gift!

It's not the couple's anniversary and it's not Lisa's birthday. So on top of everything, it looks like this was a present "just because," which makes it even better!
