There is simply no denying that Nicole Kidman is an incredibly talented, stunning, down-to-earth, Hollywood icon. There is no one like her.

Although Nicole's background is Irish, Scottish, and English, she was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was given a Hawaiian name when she was born, Hōkūlani, meaning "Heavenly Star." That is seriously such a breathtaking name.
So, if you were ever wondering about her accent, it is, in fact, Australian.
She has dual citizenship in Australia and the US.
“I am very shy – really shy – I even had a stutter as a kid, which I slowly got over, but I still regress into that shyness. So I don’t like walking into a crowded restaurant by myself; I don’t like going to a party by myself," she said to Stuttering Help.
If you've ever seen the movie Moulin Rouge, then you already know that Nicole has a surprising and impressive set of pipes on her!
So, if she ever wanted to take after her husband and pursue music instead of acting, she would have a very good chance of succeeding.
"Moulin Rouge was really hard for me because singing is not something that comes naturally to me. It is so frightening to have to sing in front of people. I get terrified," she said on The Graham Norton Show.
Speaking of Moulin Rouge, back in 2014, Nicole revealed that she actually broke a rib trying to squeeze into her corset for the film.
Ultimately, she was able to get her waist down to 18 inches.
"I had this thing that I wanted to get my waist down to 18 inches, which Vivian Leigh had on Gone with the Wind and I was just like, "tighter, tighter!"'
"He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, but to everybody else, he is huge. But he was lovely to me and I loved him. I still love him," she said to Ladies' Home Journal.

But not just any old blue. She has gotten very specific. Kidman has described her favorite color as “the bluest of blue.”

Unfortunately, their home in Sydney burned in the wildfires earlier this year.

She greatly believes in the importance of being open about it.
"So that then they’re not full of shame. I do believe we help carve paths that bring us together and you go, 'Oh, OK, you’re going through this, too. There is hope.'"
"I try to bring that well of experience I have in terms of things that have happened to me," Kidman said to GQ. "Am I willing to give them to the world? Am I willing to give them to a director?"
"But that’s the artistic path. So I really try to be unbelievably raw and available and shed all these layers until I’m almost skinless. But then I go and take care of myself afterwards."
In fact, when she had to speak at his funeral, she was unable to do so because she was so overwhelmed with her sadness.
"I was raised by a man who would get on a plane at midnight if I called him to come and help me," she told GQ.
"And I’m married to a man who is just the greatest partner in life. He’s given me confidence. He’ll sit on the phone and talk to me. He’ll watch episodes [of BLL] and build my esteem."
"But I’m devoted and loving and I have the capacity to love deeply, so I don’t want to get hurt. That was my opening line on one of our early dates: ‘Just be careful with me. Because when I love, I love from the deepest place.’ As a man, that either makes you run a mile or say, ‘OK, I’m going to step up.’”
“A lot of my friends tease me. That’s how we are raising our children. Keith has his own beliefs but he comes, too. I had a very Catholic grandmother, and I was raised praying, so that had massive impact," she told Vanity Fair.
