Dripping Glass Creates Beautiful 'Jellyfish' Sculptures

Daniela Forti is an Italian artist who has a uniquely creative and beautiful body of work. Her latest collection is appropriately named Meduse, the Italian word for Jellyfish. Each one of these works was forged in a unique and process that melts already formed glass.

This process creates the part of the sculpture that look like tentacles, giving them the jellyfish look. No two pieces are the same, and they range from classic glass to incredibly colorful or imaginative solid colors.

She has a permanent collection on display at the Palazzo Tucci Hotel in Lucca, which I am sure would be an amazing sight to see.
