Beloved actress, mother, and wife, Kelly Preston, has died at age 57 after a two year battle with breast cancer.
Her daughter, Ella Travolta, has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to her mother.
Best known for her role in the 1996 classic Jerry Maguire, Kelly leaves behind many family members, friends, and fans who will miss her dearly.
Kelly and hubby John Travolta shared three children together, 20-year-old daughter Ella, and 9-year-old Benjamin. The pair also have a son, Jett, who died at age 16 in January 2009.
"My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side."
He concluded, "But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."
Twenty-year-old Ella has followed in her famous parents' footsteps and has pursued a career in acting.
Kelly was her daughter's number one fan and always made her pride known.
"Still in absolute awe of my stunning daughter @ella.travolta I just re-watched all of her interviews this past week doing press for #thepoisonrose and she has jumped into ‘the family business’ as an absolute natural,” Kelly gushed on Instagram.
Now, a year later, Ella is honoring her mother in a touching Instagram post.
"Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy."
"You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always. I love you so much mama," she concluded.
