Kelly Preston, 57, Dies After Battle With Breast Cancer

Beloved actress, mother and wife Kelly Preston has died at age 57 after a two year battle with breast cancer.

Her husband, John Travolta, has taken to Instagram to inform fans of Kellys passing.

Best known for her role in the 1996 classic Jerry Maguire, Kelly leaves behind many family, friends and fans who will miss her dearly.

Kelly Preston was one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood.

Her iconic roles include CLASSICS such as Jerry Maguire, the Amanda Bynes early 'aughts gem What A Girl Wants, the iconic film Twins and of course, Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat live-action film.

Kelly married her longtime hubby John Travolta back in 1991 and the couple have been in love ever since.

The pair share three children together, 20-year-old daughter Ella, and 9-year-old Benjamin. The pair also have a son Jett, who died at age 16 in January 2009.

Taking to Instagram, John shared the news of his beloved wives passing.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many," he began.

"My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side."

He continued: "Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered."

"I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal," he concluded.
