Attention all Jon And Kate Plus 8 fans!
As you may already know, Jon Gosselin only lives with and regularly speaks to two of his eight children: Collin and Hannah.
So, it may have come as a surprise to see only Hannah in his latest Instagram post on July 4th. But as it turns out, he has a pretty solid explanation!
And believe it or not, it's been a whole 13 years since the show premiered.

It broke fans' hearts across the country — mine included! The series eventually got renamed — dropping "Jon And" from the title.
Kate Plus 8 began airing in 2010, but was quickly shut down when Jon's lawyers sent letters to TLC — demanding that they cease and desist production.
Jon and Kate's divorce wasn't exactly a clean break, and it did ultimately end up causing a bit of a divide between Jon and his children.
“My wish is that all my kids would just be together, like, hang out together,” he told ET.
"They should just be able to just get together. I mean, I have no qualms about it."
He explained that he hasn't been "stopping them from coming together,” adding that he “can’t speak for the other side.”
"And legally, no one can stop them from doing so," he added.
Jon said that he hopes when they are adults, they'll be more open to reconciling their relationship.
We hope so too for his sake!
“The time has been so much, I mean, when I look back it is upsetting, because I did spend a lot of time with my twins,” he said.
"So I try not to talk about them in the press because I don’t really know them.”
Anyways, on the fourth of July, Jon shared a photo on Instagram of himself, his daughter Hannah, and his girlfriend, Colleen Conrad.
“Happy Fourth of July 🇺🇸 to every one!!! Sorry for the late post!!!," he captioned the post.
“Collin had other plans with his friends this weekend, that’s why he is not in the picture," he wrote.
"(Shame I have to explain all that, but I just did)!!!!," he wrote.
It's definitely a shame, but it's better than the alternative: Sparking unnecessary rumors.
"Happy 4th of July!! Missing Collin who dissed us for his friends," she wrote.
