Fans Noticed 'Glee' Filled An Audience With Mannequins For A Scene

Glee may have ended in 2015, but it's been making a lot of headlines lately.

First, Lea Michele came under fire for allegedly making the show a "living hell" for her co-stars.

And now, there's been yet another disturbing discovery: the show used mannequins for one episode. Trust me when I say that you will not be able to unsee this.

The punches for *Glee* just keep on coming.

First, one of the show's lead, Lea Michele, was called out for being a mean girl on set.

And now, fans have noticed a major (albeit hilarious) mistake with one of the show's scenes.

What's next??

But first, a refresher on the drama surrounding Lea.

This all started after Lea tweeted her support of the Black Lives Matter movement, writing, "George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter."

Soon, one of her former *Glee* co-stars, Samantha Marie Ware, called out the hypocrisy of Lea's tweet:

"LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET," she wrote.

From there, it just got worse and worse.

"CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET," she continued, shocking everyone.

"I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD '[EXPLETIVE] IN MY WIG!' AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD..."

Ware's confession caused many more co-stars to come forward with their Lea stories.

Dabier Snell, who appeared in a 2014 episode, tweeted that Lea wouldn't let him sit at the table with other cast members because Lea said "I didn't belong there."

Additionally, Amber Riley, who starred as the character Mercedes Jones on *Glee* from 2009 to 2015, made her feelings known via GIFs.

Later, though, she clarified to journalist Danielle Young on Instagram Live that she doesn't think Michele is racist.

"But at the same time, in my inbox there are a lot of black actors and actresses telling me their stories," she said.

"And were letting me know they have dealt with the same things being on set, being terrorized by the white girls that are the leads of the show."

After all these troubling accusations came to light, Lea released a statement:

Since she's pregnant, she also said that she hopes her child can learn from her mistakes.

"I will be better in the future from this experience."

If you thought the *Glee* drama would die down, think again.

At least this time it's something lighthearted. Thanks to one TikTok user, a disturbing discovery was made...

During the Season 4 episode titled, “Thanksgiving,” mannequins were used as seat-fillers.

“So I’m just noticing in ‘Glee’ there are dummies in the crowd,” TikTok user Kelly Sipos begins in the now-viral clip.

As she zooms in, she spots the first dummy. "That's a dummy, she says, before moving onto the next one.

These are not normal dummies, either. One looks like it's dressed from the 1800s!

"Those are all dummies," she says with a laugh.

The show clearly didn't put a lot of thought into this.

The two pictured here aren't sitting up straight and the dummies aren't strategically placed.

Instead, these four are all sitting close together.

“I feel like I’m in the ‘House of Wax’, man,” Kelly says before the clip ends.

Soon, users on TikTok had a lot of thoughts.

This included Lea getting a few jabs.

"Leah Michelle made the real extras leave," this user wrote.

Some pointed out that shows use mannequins in order to fill seats without blowing the budget.

"Cheaper than hiring extras," another user added.

According to the comments, other shows that have used dummies as seat fillers include The Office and some Disney shows.

*The Office* using mannequins was even confirmed on the *Office Ladies* podcast with Jenna Fisher and Angela Kinsey.

"Torsos with no arms and legs dressed up in suits, Jenna said.

You won't be able to spot them, though, since they're placed strategically in the back and at the end of aisles.
