Kirstie Ally has a lot to say about the hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.

While she's not the first to critique the controversial series, she's one of the most recent and most outspoken.

If you're not familiar with the teen drama, *13 Reasons Why* is a show based around the suicide of a high school student.

13 Reasons Why received a lot of backlash when it first premiered as many parents feared their children would be negatively impacted by the show.

The latest celebrity to slam the series is 69-year-old actress Kirstie Alley.

Kirstie is never one to shy away from speaking her mind, and her thoughts about 13 Reasons Why was no exception to this rule.

When one of her followers agreed with her, Kirstie went on to recommend the show for "people over 40 or 70." OVER 70?! Dang!

Needless to say, this is a bold claim for a show that is meant for teenagers!

Earlier this week, Kirstie tweeted: "Don’t let your kids watch 13 Reasons Why...DARK so DARK and such an onslaught of the most non stop [expletive] ness to come down the highschool pike since Caligula was 16."

I will say, the Caligula reference was creative!

She concluded her rant with her belief that every actor has their own purpose in Hollywood, implying her purpose was more positive than the actors on *13 Reasons Why*.

"I've mostly just wanted to make people laugh and get on with it," she wrote.
