Fans Agree Keanu Reeves Is The Only Good Thing Happening Right Now After Movie Trailer Releases

With everything that's currently going on in the world, you will be delighted to hear about the most excellent surprise:

The new trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music just dropped!

While fans are excited about this, let's be honest: all we care about is Keanu.

It's understandably so, given that he's the bright spot we need amongst all this chaos!

In case you didn't know, yesterday was Bill & Ted Day.

So what better way to celebrate than with the highly-anticipated teaser trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music, starring none other than Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter!

The long-awaited third installment comes 31 years after the original *Excellent Adventure*.

IMDb

The movie, which is directed by Dean Parisot with the screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, is actually one of the few movies being released in theatres this summer during the coronavirus pandemic.

The official announcement about the film was first announced back in March 2019.

Keanu and Alex had made a video message to fans, thanking them for making the third movie possible.

“We want to say thank you to the fans,” Reeves said.

“It’s all because of you guys. We owe you a huge debt of gratitude, so we wanted to say thank you," Winter added.

In the new film, Alex and Keanu reprise their roles as time-travelling rockers who have yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny.

Bill and Ted are middle-aged when they set out on their new journey to save the world with their music.

"We've spent our whole life trying to write the song that will unite the world," Reeves, 55, says in the trailer.

"Why can't we just go to the future when we have written it? ... But isn't that stealing?"

"How is that stealing if we're stealing it from ourselves, dude?" replies Winter, 54.

You better bet that there's a lot of "Woah's" in there.

The film also stars Samara Weaving, Jillian Bell, and Holland Taylor.

The nostalgia is about to be so real for fans who last saw these characters in 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

To say this movie has been a long time coming would be an understatement.

While fans are super excited for the movie, all many of them could focus on was Keanu.

This is to be expected, given that it's, you know, Keanu (check out this adorable list of him just doing things in 2020).

Soon, the actor angel even began trending.

It's safe to say that Keanu is the bright spot we all need.

After all, Keanu has always been a perfect example of kindness in the world.

He's one of the few celebrities to ride the subway and give up his seat whenever someone needs it.

Fans are understandably ready and pleased to be getting more Keanu in the world of movies.

The best thing about him is that not only is he a good actor, but more importantly, he's an even better human being.

Fans love to watch him at work.

Here's a look at ripped Ted:

You're welcome.

This screenshot comes from the scene in the trailer when Bill and Ted taking a time-traveling trip to the future to find themselves ripped and in prison.

Woah, indeed.

And in all this, fans are still pointing out one very important detail.

Keanu Reeves just doesn't age.

We don't know how he is able to do this, but it's maddening! Reeves, my man, drop the skincare routine! We need to know!

It was a most excellent surprise.

"We know it's a tough time right now and you're having to do this virtual graduation," Winter said.

"We want to wish you the best of luck moving forward."

"Yeah, congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done!" Reeves said.

"But most importantly, we wanted to tell you to be excellent to each other," said Winter.

Most excellent. "And party on," concluded Reeves.
