Knowing that Kanye always speaks what's on his mind, especially when it comes to political situations, it was a bit surprising to many fans that he had not spoken out about the recent death of George Floyd or the Black Lives Matter movement.

It turns out that Kanye was doing the work behind the scenes.

It has been confirmed that Kanye has donated $2 million in relation to the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, alongside many black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago.

That's not all he's done, though.

Kanye also set up a college savings fund for George Floyd's 6-year-old daughter, Gianna.

What an incredible action to have taken!

Kanye has also been spotted out in the streets of Chicago marching with the other protesters. It's wonderful to see so many people, both celebrities and regular citizens, come together to exercise their right to peaceful protest in support of the causes they believe in.

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, has also made a public statement.

"For years, with every horrific murder of an innocent Black man, woman, or child, I have always tried to find the right words to express my condolences and outrage, but the privilege I am afforded by the color of my skin has often left me feeling like this is not a fight that I can truly take on my own," she wrote on her Instagram.

"Not today. Not anymore. Like so many of you, I am angry."

"I am more than angry. I am infuriated and I am disgusted. I am exhasuted by the heartbreak," Kim continued.

Kim emphasized that she "can use my own voice to help amplify those voices that have been muffled for too long."

We love to see celebrities using their voice!
