Create A Rainbow Garden With 'Desert Gem' Cactus Plants

I'm just gonna say it: cactuses are underrated.

(Yes, you can say both "cactuses" and "cacti," don't @ me about it.)

Like succulents, cacti come in all sorts of colors. But unlike succulents, they're not known for it! Let's check them out.

Now this is a rainbow.

Costa Farms

Look at them! Look how tiny, cute, and colorful they are! And their tiny spines aren't actually too sharp, so you don't have to fear them. What? Some spiky cactuses are scary.

They come in six colors.

Blue, green, orange, pink, purple, and red. I am totally going for the pink and purple ones, you guys. They're so stinkin' cute!

These are a great way to add color to an otherwise blank room.

They are very much indoor plants.

And they're super easy to care for. They require minimal watering (they are cacti, after all) and prefer to be in full sunlight, though they can tolerate only partial sunlight.

Costa Farms adds the color to these themselves.

According to them, adding the color to the spines doesn't harm the plants at all. However, new growth will come out white — so hey, there's another color for you!
