Elon Musk Finally Explains How To Pronounce His Son's Name, X Æ A-12

Well, the moment we have all been waiting for is FINALLY here! It's time to find out how to actually pronounce Elon Musk and Grimes' son's name, X Æ A-12.

Will it sound like Kyle, as some have suspected on Twitter? Or will it sound just like a robot speaking?

Let's take a look! Or rather, let's take a listen!

Grimes had a very ~alternative~ pregnancy, to say the least.

The 32-year-old singer described her pregnancy as a "crazy sacrifice" in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine back in March.

As you could suspect, this phrasing raised some eyebrows.

"For a girl, it’s sacrificing your body and your freedom. It’s a pretty crazy sacrifice and only half of the population has to do it," she explained.

"It was really profound to me when I decided I was going to do it, to actually go through the act of, like, y’know, unprotected sex."

She continued: "I’m just like, I have sacrificed my power in this moment. I have, like, capitulated. And I have spent my whole life avoiding that situation."

Thankfully, it was all good vibezz and smooth sailing when Grimes gave birth!

On May 5th, Elon Musk and Grimes' son, X Æ A-12 Musk, was born.

I think it goes without saying that this very unique name took the internet for a WILD RIDE!

For the record, Elon has fathered six other children and they all have relatively normal names!

Elon and his ex-wfie, Justine Wilson, had six sons together during their eight year marriage.

Their first son, Nevada Alexander Musk, tragically died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at the age of 10 weeks.

The couple later had five sons through IVF – twins Griffin and Xavier, who were born in 2004, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, in 2006.

Now, about that X Æ A-12 name... The people are very confused!

I think there's also been a lot more eye rolls and of course they did's because well, of course Elon Musk and Grimes did this to us, lol.

To be fair, Grimes did try to explain her son's name on Twitter but, *shockingly*, it didn't help us understand anything clearer.

Who doesn't love a name with a stand alone X, an Æ (??), a dash and a number?!

Now, Elon is explaining to us what his son's name actually means and how we PRONOUNCE this cwazy name on the *Joe Rogan Experience* podcast.

Twitter | @elonmusk

Elon explained that Grimes was mostly responsible for the name, saying he only added the A-12.

"A-12 was my contribution," he said. "The Archangel-12, the precursor to the SR-71, the coolest plane ever."

Oooooh, of course! The precursor to the SR-71!!! We're so silly, guys!!!! Ha ha ha! How did we not pick up on that?! It's so obvious!

According to Elon, X is pronounced just "like the letter" while "the 'Æ' is pronounced like 'ash.' "

This SADLY disproves the Twitter conspiracy that X Æ A-12 was just pronounced like "Kyle" and tbh thank gosh it isn't, lol.

So it's just pronounced "X ash A-12 Musk" I guess. So..that's...cool?
