Some congratulations are in order! Founder and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, and musician, Grimes, have welcomed their first child, as Elon announced on Twitter late Monday, May 4th.

Elon Musk And Grimes Announce Birth Of Their Son, 'X Æ A-12 Musk'
Singer Grimes had announced her pregnancy at the start of the year.

Grimes had shared a few photographs of her with her baby bump, although she didn't officially confirm the pregnancy until March.
At the start of May, Elon confirmed that May 4th would be the due date.
Obviously, when the date rolled around, fans were clamoring for information on whether the baby had been born yet or not.
After a fan on Twitter asked Elon for any news on the baby, Elon replied with "A few hours away!"
And a few hours later, Elon sent a follow up reply confirming the birth of their child, writing, "Mom & baby all good."
In classic Elon fashion, the first photo of his baby that he shared was a funny one.
The picture showed the baby all bundled up in the hospital. However, the picture also had an Instagram filter overlaid on the baby's face to give the appearance of tattoos.
When a fan asked "boy or girl?" Elon replied with a simple "Boy."
Elon shared this photograph of himself with his newborn son while wearing an OCCUPY MARS shirt after a fan requested he share one to "break the internet."
However, when a fan asked Elon to share the baby's name, many were surprised.
Elon replied that his name was 'X Æ A-12 Musk' which is certainly a mouthful! Previous rumors had spread that the couple had been planning on naming their child Influenza, so a unique name was definitely expected.
One fan has a theory on what the name actually means.
They stated that Æ is the symbol for ash, and that Lookheed A-12 was a plane that was also known as "Archangel," therefore they believed that the child's name was actually Ash Archangel Musk, which is at least one step towards a more common name.
Twitter is having a heyday with the unique name and general strangeness of the couple themselves.
Many tweets centered around the general confusion on how the name would be pronounced, although we're sure Elon and Grimes will be giving out a guide soon enough.
"People refer to elon musk as an innovator but the dude just named his baby X Æ A-12 musk when Prince changed his name to a symbol in 1993," joked Twitter user @behindyourback.
Regardless of the unique name, we're happy for the couple and their healthy, beautiful baby!
