People Are Turning Their Garden Sheds Into DIY Backyard Bars

Got a shed that's just taking up space in your yard? I have a great solution for you, and it's going to up your summer game big time: bar sheds.

People are turning their unused sheds into bar sheds, and you kinda just have to see it to believe it.

This bar shed is a paradise.

The awning? The walk-up service? The fire pit? This isn't a bar shed, this is a whole bar lounge.

Imagine spending your summer days kicking it in this space. It looks like heaven.

This bar shed has hidden features.

Not only is it an amazing bar shed to host parties in, it can be converted into a guest bedroom for out of town guests! Now that's using space wisely.

This whole shed was made by hand.

Including the bar, which was hand crafted by a father and son duo! Check out that under mount lighting; most kitchens don't have counters that nice. Shout out to that teamwork!

Try and tell me you wouldn't hang out in this shed.

This one is a pub shed, so naturally it has to have some cozy places to sit and hang. The metal cladding on the side is a great industrial touch, don't you think?

So... this is next level.

Like, this is a proper bar. There's bar stools, light-up decor, a specials board, and a friggin' tv mounted on the wall. Every other bar wants what Scotty's Shanty has.

People truly spare no expense on their bars.

TV? Check. Rows of liquor? Check. A sit-in bartop? Check. What doesn't this bar have? I'll tell you what, it's me sitting at one of those bar stools and yelling at the TV.

This bar shed has an entertainment corner.

Well, @theworldfamousshedbar sure did name their account correctly. They have tons of different shots of their ever in-progress shed bar, including this newly-added entertainment section in the corner with PS4 and a PS2 in it. Nice.

This bar shed is also a she shed.

It has a bar in the corner, some comfy af couches inside and outside, and a desk for working! This looks more comfortable than most studio apartments, tbh. Sign me up.

Do you need an operating license for a bar this authentic?

Because holy crap, this looks legit. This would be an amazing place to have parties! Plus, you'll always know where the beer is, thanks to the helpful, gigantic sign.

How cute and cozy does this bar look?

I would be so down to pull up a stool and drink a margarita or two here. This looks like the perfect backyard retreat!
