Eva Mendes Says She Won't Post Her Daughters Until 'They're Old Enough To Consent'

You don't need me to tell you that Eva Mendes is gorgeous, and you probably also don't need me to tell you that her husband, Ryan Gosling, is also gorgeous. The couple has two daughters, aged 4 and 5, and it's probably a safe bet that the entire family is beautiful, but you won't be finding that out from Eva's Instagram page, as she recently explained.

Eva recently shared a piece of artwork on her Instagram, but it was her caption that got people talking.

"⁣During these times, I’m so confused about what to post so I’m going to post things that move me in hopes that they move you as well. Since I don’t post my about immediate family, and it feels so wrong to post about work, here you go..,"she wrote.

"Why never immediate family?" asked one commenter, and Eva had a reply ready.

"Hi! I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I’ll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life," she said in her response.

"And since my children are still so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent."

"And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent."

When it comes to her husband, Eva had another answer: "As far as Ryan and I, it just works for us this way, to stay private."

Eva was then thanked for answering the question, and her response to that was just as sweet.

"I don’t mind explaining myself sometimes. I care about people and their questions. So I’m happy to answer honestly," she wrote.

It's awesome to see a celebrity so clearly set boundaries when it comes to social media and their personal life!
