Small Pup Always Picks The Biggest, Fluffiest Dogs To Nap On At Daycare

I'm mildly allergic to dogs, which growing up meant never being able to rub my face in a puppy's fur or use them as a pillow.

Then I had a boyfriend who was also allergic to most dogs, and we adopted a shih tzu, whose long hair doesn't trigger hives and sneezing.

And, guys, I discovered the sheer joy of smooshing my hands and face into that hairy little pup. I missed out on so much smooshing.

So when I saw this story about Edna, I totally related to her mood.

Edna went viral recently after an Instagram post by her human Brianna Gottfried was stumbled upon.

In it were a series of pics and the question: "Does anyone else’s pup look for the fluffy dogs to snuggle with?"

Judging by the ample photo evidence, this practice isn't a habit for Edna, but a bonafide lifestyle.

Brianna told The Dodo that Edna has been visiting the same doggy daycare since she was a puppy.

Unsurprisingly, when play time has tired everyone out, comfy nap spots are at a premium.

Instead of fighting for a cozy spot, Edna cleverly found her own solution.

She'll find a big, fluffy dog who is resting on the cool tile and use them as a bed instead.

And that's how Brianna regularly finds her come pick-up time.

If all that's available is a tail, Edna makes it work.

While fluffy is definitely a preference, Edna has proven not to be discriminatory.

When at home, she will happily use her animal siblings instead, even if they are smaller and distinctly not furry, like Earl the cat.

Edna's pics have been so popular that Brianna has made an instagram account just for her. You can follow it @missedna_rose.
