Kristen Bell To Host Nickelodeon Special To Teach Kids About The Coronavirus Pandemic

It's so important to stay informed during these troubling times that we're in, and that goes for children too. A lot of the news can be scary and hard to understand for kids, but Kristen Bell is teaming up with Nickelodeon to make it a little bit easier.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Kristen Bell has been a huge proponent of spreading information and awareness during this pandemic.

Her Instagram is full of helpful tips and up to date information on the subject, and not just clinical, either. Kristen even recently shared that her husband, Dax Shepard, was isolating himself from their family after travelling.

Now Kristen is working with Nickelodeon to bring '#KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall' to our screens.

The show will be an hour long special that directly answers and addresses the questions and concerts that kids have in relation to the pandemic and the virus.

Kristen has spoken about how important this is to her.

"It’s so important to remember that we are all in this together, and our kids and loved ones need outlets to help them process and understand what’s going on and, most importantly, to still feel connected," she told EW.

Kristen shared that she hopes the special will help bring families some comfort and happiness.

"I hope kids and families come away from this special feeling a little more comfortable and that they enjoy some much-needed moments of humor during this difficult time," she said.

This seems like such an awesome idea! Way to go, Kristen!
