Forget Pawn Stars or Dragon's Den — Chrissy Teigen just proved that she's a master negotiator.
The TV personality just managed to pull off the deal of a lifetime: her banana bread for lettuce from one of her followers.
On Monday, the mom and model put out a tweet asking her 12.5 million followers if they wanted to trade romaine lettuce for her famous banana bread.
Lots of people jumped at the chance to do the trade, like this person who got Teigen to admit that she hadn't even made the banana bread yet.
"I have three studio city," he wrote. It's Trader Joe's romaine hearts, a package that comes with three heads of lettuce.
Chrissy Teigen salivates
I, personally have a whole photo album of me and romaine lettuce, so I understand her concerns completely.
"Hi, Mrs. Teigen," he began, all serious. "Here's the three, he said while posing once again next to the lettuce.
To confirm the date, he held up his watch and said that it's "Monday, the 23."
"Ok Chris. I trust you. Let me make this bread and I’ll be in your area tomorrow early afternoon!!" she tweeted.
Since Chris would only be getting half a banana bread (greedy, John Legend, ugh), Teigen offered to throw in a slice of pie.
"Wait I sent this before the pie tweet... we want pie," he tweeted after.
Clearly, an expert negotiator!!
"this is the most exciting thing that’s happened to me during the quarantine."
Same, girl, SAME.
The next day, Chris woke up feeling like a winner.
"Woke up today and said 'okay Chris, let’s get this bread,'" he tweeted.
When a fan wanted to know why Teigen wasn't free until 3:30 p.m., Teigen revealed that since Chris is vegan, she ordered him vegan food. SO SWEET.
"@ChrisKlemens making out like a bandit in this," she hilariously tweeted.
She shared a video of their meeting spot, which was at a church parking lot in Studio City
"Check it John, check it," Teigen said to her husband immediately after the toy car rolled towards them.
They even used measuring tape to ensure they were keeping a safe six-feet distance.
But most of all, Chris walked away with a new friendship with the celeb couple as Teigen later shared a picture of the foursome at a careful distance apart.
Thank you to all parties, as this exchange will live on in history!!
