Quarantined Man Sends Dog On Brave Quest To Get Him A Bag Of Cheetos

Look, it doesn't matter when or where hunger strikes — as soon as your tummy starts rumbling and those cravings kick in, you're going to do what you gotta do to get some food into you.

But what happens when you get a very specific craving while you're under quarantine, like millions of people are in the world right now, and literally aren't allowed to leave your house?

Well, that's when having a dog apparently comes in handy.

One Mexico man recently found himself battling some serious Cheetos cravings without any way of getting a bag of those cheesy snacks himself.

Antonio Muñoz could have technically popped down to the store. People are allowed to leave, at least to buy essentials.

But he's being responsible during this worldwide pandemic, and he knows that in order to limit the spread of you-know-what, he should practice social distancing and stay at home instead.

So he enlisted the help of his very small, very brave, and apparently very willing chihuahua.

In a Facebook post, Muñoz shared photos of his sweet pup and the note he expertly tucked inside her collar which, when translated, read:

"Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they're too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor."

Yes, this man did indeed send his little doggy out into the big, wide world, trusting she would come back with his precious Cheetos.

And off she went, happily and probably pretty obliviously trotting away from her owner who could only hope and pray his simple note, and the $20 he included, would procure the cheesy snacks.

Honestly, this could have all gone so, so badly.

First of all, the chihuahua could have simply wandered off and gotten lost somewhere, never to be seen again. Someone could have picked her up and taken her away for themselves. Or she could have hurt herself, whether by getting in the way of traffic or by some other dangerous means.

But surprisingly, this little doggy made it to the store, and even more surprisingly, she returned with Cheetos.

Muñoz got photographic proof of the very moment his pup returned home, Cheetos bag secured safely in her mouth, ready to present her owner with the only snack he apparently couldn't live without.

It's unclear just how exactly the chihuahua managed to complete her brave and *very* noble quest so effortlessly.

Perhaps she's accompanied Muñoz to that very store so often, she knows the way herself. Perhaps her doggy instincts took over and she simply followed her nose to the Cheetos promise land.

Or perhaps someone found her wandering, read the note, and decided to lend both her and her hungry owner a helping hand. We'll probably never know.

But one thing we do know for sure is this: that sweet little chihuahua is a very good dog.
