10+ Celebrities Who Got Into Fights On Set

While we may think that celebrities are these amazing, infallible gods, believe it or not, they are still people.

People who get sad, people who get angry and people who, like us, get into spats with their co-workers.

These are all the celebrities who, at one point, hated their co-workers. Just like you!

Sylvester Stallone Vs. Richard Gere

These two literally fought on the set of Lords of Flatbush. It started when Richard Gere spilled some really greasy chicken on Stallone's pants and Stallone elbowed Gere in the head.

Jesus.

Dustin Hoffman Vs. Sydney Pollack

Dustin Hoffman and Sydney Pollack (director) worked together on a film called Tootsie.

The conflict between the two was almost every day, all over their creative differences on how they wanted the film to get made.

LL Cool J Vs Jamie Foxx

Warner Bros.

There was some very real beef between these two on the set of Any Given Sunday.

It started when Jamie Foxx slapped LL, and it devolved into punches.

Joan Crawford Vs Bette Davis

Warner Bros.

These two ladies worked together on What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and absolutely hated each other!

They did all sorts of mean stuff to each other during filming, and it got so bad they made it into a mini-series in 2017!

Christian Bale Vs. A Crew member

While this wasn't between two celebrities, it still involved one very famous one!

Christian Bale got into a heated fight with a crew member on the set of Terminator Salvation. He lashed out very badly, and the audio ended up leaking to the press.

George Clooney Vs. David O. Russell

Warner Bros.

Yet another fight between a director and an actor!

As the tale goes, George Clooney was tired of David O. Russell yelling at everyone on the set of Three Kings, and when he saw Russell yelling at an A.D., he took his shot.

Rob Lowe Vs Tom Cruise

IMDb

It was during a mock brawl on the set of The Outsiders where Lowe accidentally punched the famous Tom Cruise in the face.

Tom wanted to get his own shot in, and he did. There was a quick brawl, but it was broken up.

Rip Torn Vs Norman Mailer

The Criterion Collection Inc

This feud on the set of Maidstone was legendary.

There was an actual fight between the two actors, and it was used in the final cut. There's also a lot of debate over who bit whose ear.

Lea Michele Vs Naya Rivera

Fox

Rivera has denied having a feud with Michele on Glee, but she did say this in her memoir:

"As Santana moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time. I think Rachel ā€“ erm, I mean Lea ā€“ didn't like sharing the spotlight."

Corey Feldman Vs Corey Haim

This may have been played up a little bit because it was, in fact, a reality TV show (The Two Coreys), but the two Coreys got volatile after Haim made a comment about Feldman's wife.

Ed Harris Vs James Cameron

Ed Harris nearly drowned on the set of The Abyss, which is a movie with a lot of underwater scenes. James Cameron simply watched from behind the camera.

Harris ended up punching James Cameron in the face.

Tom Sizemore Vs Val Kilmer

IMDb

There has been a weird dynamic between these two for years, and it finally reached the breaking point.

It all exploded on the set of Red Planet. Sizemore punched Val Kilmer in the chest (he was told to avoid the face).

Patrick Dempsey Vs Isaiah Washington

ABC

All was not smiles and happiness on the set of Grey's Anatomy.

In short, Washington implied Dempsey could not act, and the two of them got into a brawl.

Lily Tomlin Vs David O. Russell

In the video, you can clearly see how bad their feud got on the set of I Heart Huckabees.

Tomlin wasn't taking Russell's direction, and he got so furious he began to shout very nasty things toward her!

Steven Seagal Vs John Leguizamo

Apparently, Seagal came into rehearsal for the film Executive Decision saying, "Iā€™m in command. What I say is law."

Leguizamo obviously laughed, and Seagal replied by slamming the actor into a wall with an Aikido elbow.

Val Kilmer Vs Joel Schumacher

Let's put it this way: The feud got so bad between the two of them, that Schumacher called Kilmer "psychotic".

They reportedly got into a verbal fight on set after Kilmer abused crew members, but it never really got better.

Chevy Chase Vs Bill Murray

NBC

The two of them are SNL alumni, and they both got into a fight backstage during a show where Chevy was hosting.

But Chase seems to get into a lot of fights.

Bill Murray Vs Lucy Liu

Sony Pictures

Ever wonder why Bill Murray was replaced in the Charlie's Angels sequel? Because reportedly, he told Lucy Liu that she couldn't act.

Liu didn't like this and apparently threw punches.

Sean Penn Vs Oliver Stone

The set of U-Turn was apparently unbearable. Let this quote by Sean Penn put it into context for you:

''And I think that was my greatest accomplishment on that movie. For seven whole hellacious weeks, I was able to communicate with a pig. I asked myself many times, What the hell am I doing out here in the desert with Oliver Stone?"

Tom Hardy Vs Shia LaBeouf

The Weinstein Company

It may be a joke, it may be serious, but the fact of the matter is that there was an altercation between Hardy and LaBeouf on the set of Lawless, and Hardy got knocked out.

Jim Carrey Vs Jerry “The King” Lawler

While Carrey was in character as Andy Kaufman on Man on the Moon, he got a little too into it, and it led to a fight with Jerry Lawler.

Lawler almost punched Carrey out after he spat in Lawler's face, shouting, "I could do this anytime I want to."

James Franco Vs Tyrese Gibson

James Franco has actually acknowledged the feud that they had on the set of Annapolis, and even blamed it on himself.

"I take full blame for any problems on that film. If he had a bad experience working with me, I was probably a jerk," he said.
