Musicians Are Live-Streaming Concerts For Fans In Isolation So They Can Rock Out To Some Quaran-Tunes

Just because we're practicing social distancing right now doesn't mean we have to give up all of our hobbies ā€” just, unfortunately, the ones that require going out and gathering in large groups like concerts.

But don't worry, music lovers ā€” not all hope is lost!

Musicians from big to small have all decided to start live-streaming concerts so that people can enjoy live music even from the comfort of self-isolation.

Chris Martin from Coldplay really kicked it off when he tweeted, "Hello everyone. I hope you and your family are safe and healthy. If anyone feels like chatting and listening to some music, Iā€™m going to do a livestream on the Coldplay Instagram," and then proceeded to do just that to an audience of very happy fans on Monday.

Keith Urban also followed suit, with his wife Nicole Kidman providing some backup vocals.

Tons of fans were incredibly grateful for the experience, especially because it's all been free ā€” fellow musician John Mayer even commented, adding that he's "Proud to know you."

John Legend is the next to join the party.

"It'll be on Instagram Live at @johnlegend. Requests will be accepted. And let me know which other artists I should pass the torch to," John added, and people had tons of suggestions.

Comedian Patton Oswalt was also doing his part, with some front-yard standup.

He had a few neighbors watching quite happily, so it was a pretty big success!

Who would you like to see live-stream a concert or show? Let us know in the comments!
