Blake accidentally shattered her hand after punching Jude Law!

This resulted in filming being halted for months and her character, Stephanie, wearing a bandage on her hand during most scenes.

2. Brad Pitt in "Se7en"

When Pitt's character, Detective David Mills, wore a sling in the movie, it wasn't for show.

He suffered a severed tendon when he slipped during an intense scene and dropped his arm through a windshield.

3. Channing Tatum in "Foxcatcher"

When fans saw blood in a tense scene during the sports drama Foxcatcher, that was actually Tatum's blood.

This happened when his character smashes his head into a mirror several times.

This was despite the fact that the mirror had safety plastic on it.

Tatum ended up breaking the mirror and the wall behind him.

4. Viggo Mortensen in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers"

LOTR fans might remember the harrowing scream his character Aragorn let out when fearing that Merry and Pippin were killed, as well.

Turns out, that scream was from something else as the actor broke two toes while kicking a helmet.

5. Nicole Kidman in "Moulin Rouge"

A corset might be to blame for the broken rib the actress suffered on set.

She also suffered cartilage damage in her knee from something else.

She returned to work two weeks after her injury, but she had to film some scenes sitting down so that the camera wouldn't catch her knee brace.

6. Jake Gyllenhaal in "Nightcrawler"

Speaking of mirrors, when Jake Gyllenhaal punched a mirror in this thriller, the mirror wasn't supposed to break but did.

8. Halle Berry in "Gothika"

When the actress shot the 2003 thriller, Robert Downey Jr. accidentally broke her arm.

''It wasn't like I was trying to fall 50 feet and just fell wrong or did something crazy. I was shooting a scene with Robert and he grabbed my arm the wrong way and broke it," she said.

It's been said that Berry still hasn't forgiven Robert for breaking her arm.

"She didn't think he was sorry enough. He didn't even send flowers. Whenever she sees him in town she won't talk to him," a source said.

9. Diane Kruger in "Inglourious Basterds"

Director Quinton Tarantino choked the actress with her permission.

“What I would like to do, with your permission, is just…commit to choking you, with my hands, in a closeup,” Tarantino said to her.

10. Cary Elwes in "The Princess Bride"

This iconic scene in the film is about to blow your mind.

When Cary gets hit in the head and passes out, that was him actually passing out! He later awoke in the hospital.

Watch at the 2:15 mark.

11. Margaret Hamilton in 'The Wizard of Oz'

The actress who played the Wicked Witch of the West suffered the sins of her character.

When the witch burst into flames in the film, the real-life actress got caught in the flames, resulting in third-degree burns on her face and hands.

12. Leonardo DiCaprio in "Django Unchained"

Leo literally shed blood for his role in the Quinton Tarantino film.

This happened when he smashed a crystal cordial glass with his hand.

"Blood was dripping down his hand. He never broke character," 'Django' producer Stacey Sher told 'Variety.'

"He was in such a zone. It was very intense. He required stitches," she said.
